Enjoy dinner on large country dining table with a wood burning stove in the background. Play your favorite music throughout the cabin (even outside) to keep the perfect vibe.
This is an active person’s retreat. All bedrooms are accessed by ladders (so special consideration should be made for those with young children or have limited mobility for climbing). The Bunk room and master bedroom have stunning morning views of Green Mountain Reservoir and Williams Fork Range.
Cozy living room has very large couch, love seat, and swivel chair for easy conversations that turn into long naps. There is a small TV.. High speed internet is good for short bits of unexpected work that comes up.
Great lawn for Bocce Ball, Spike Ball, Ladders or Croquet.
Short walk down the wooded path to the lake for a cool refreshing swim, or to fish off the dock or tie up your boat. 2 SUP boards available.
Just a 10 minute drive up a dirt road and you will have access to some unbelievably beautiful trails. Different skill levels.
High efficiency laundry and dryer are great for packing light but staying fresh. Toss a load of wet towels from a cool swims in there, or hang along the railings when the sun’s shining.
This property has direct lake access outfitted with a dock.
Our covered porch is great for outdoor dinners well into the evening. The rock fire pit, is perfect for late night conversations and roasting marshmallows.
You will have full access to the cabin. The second bath is accessible from the outside and is actually quite relaxing.
I will be staying in the loft over the barn, so I will be available to field questions or help.
Please don't smoke inside. Be respectful of the cabin. Careful on the ladders.
I'm not sure I've ever chosen not to #optout. Fresh air soothes my soul. Whether the dogs are campaigning for a second hike, the lake is like glass or the trail received a blanket of snow.... I'm in. It also is how I've embarked on my new company. I needed a way to protect my grandson from the changing weather, without using both my hands to hang onto a blanket. So I created a TrailBlanket. The cabin we have decided to share i.e. allow me to continue down the startup runway, came about after I pulled the girl card and wanted to have a toilet instead of running to an outhouse. (we were regular campers on the other side of the lake) Best purchase ever and after 4 years of 1 more thing, it's captured peace. It is heated by the wood stove, which when the power goes out is a good thing. You can still stay warm and cook up a hot meal. The transformation was a personal best in the project category. I love to escape into a great read, catch the occasional movie (we added a tv Oct/15) controversial move, or sit on the dock with the dogs catching a sunset or sunrise.
