Ideally located in the centre of Paris, Duplex apartment in 17th century building, renovated in 2013.
On a charming pedestrian street in the fashionable Montorgueil area of Paris' 2nd district. Very good transport connections, Chatelet-les-Halles.

ที่พัก

Ideally located right in the centre of Paris, duplex apartment (34m2/366sq ft), in 17th century building, fully renovated in 2013.
The apartment is located in the fashionable Montorgueil area of Paris' 2nd arrondissement. The area is famous for its pedestrian streets, packed with small boutiques, cafes an restaurants. Just 5 minutes walk from the Pompidou centre and Le Marais and 10 min walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame cathedral and other sites. There are 3 metro stations within 5min walk including Chatelet-Les Halles for direct travel to CDG and Orly airports as well as Eurodisney.
The apartment is fully renovated, very compact an clean. It includes the living room and an open kitchen on the 1st level and upstairs is the bedroom (140cm/55in double bed) with wooden beams and the shower room.
Free (and fast) wifi internet is available, towels and bed linen provided.
The apartment sleeps 2 comfortably in the double bed upstairs and has a sofa bed (160cm wide) downstairs for a a further 2 people if needed is also very confortable.
I rent the small studio next door also and this is my own apartment that I rent out when I'm traveling.
The area is full of restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs, yet the apartment face the courtyard so we don't get the noise from the street.
As the apartment is on 2 levels and the bedroom overlooks the living room, the apartment may not be suitable for very "active" young children.
If you are over 1m90/ 6'2" tall, you may find you start hitting your head on wooden beams!!
Bear in mind that the apartment is on the 4th floor without a lift, particularly if you have a lot of heavy luggage.

Here are a list of possible walks I suggest you try in Paris if you are here for the first time and have time to visit the sighs.
I take people on these itineraries so I have added the average time (and cost if you’d like me to accompany you), however time will depend on a lot of variables and it doesn’t include going into museums/sights.
The walks are fully flexible and these are just a few suggestions.

Departure time is before 12noon and arrival time after 15:00, however there is a small storage room that can be used if arriving sooner or leaving later. There is a cleaning fee of 40EUR which is included in the price that is shown by airbnb.
Rubbish/garbage bins are downstairs by the entrance door. The one with the yellow cover is for plastics/paper. The green top one is for everything else. unfortunately we don't have one for glass in the building because of lack of space downstairs.
Please, if you find more than one key in the safe box please just take the one you need and leave the other, as it may be for other guests in another apartment.

Francisco was a great host, really helpful and attentive. He responded to messages really quickly and had lots of information about Paris. The apartment was really nice, slightly bijou but it suited us fine - great location on a quiet back street from the main area of Le Marais. It was the perfect base from which to travel around Paris. The apartment is really well kept as has everything you could require.

The flat is in a fantastic location. There are so many independent shops, restaurants and patisseries in the surrounding area. The area feels very safe too - we frequently returned to the flat late in the evening without any issues. The flat itself was extremely clean. The downstairs area is nice and spacious with a good kitchen area. Wifi was fast and reliable the whole time. Communication from the host was great and we received a very warm welcome when we arrived. Useful information is provided and Francisco was happy to provide more should we have needed it.

Francisco's place was perfect. Location is central and excellent.... very simple to get around and adventure. Close proximity to Notredam, markets, cafes, shopping, etc. In house laundry, cooking equipment, and fridge all top notch and modern. Can't complain with the wealth of information Francisco also left for us. I can't wait to return and stay again!

From the beginning, communication with Francisco was excellent. He included detailed instructions on how to get to his apartment from a variety of places. He greeted us on arrival and took the time to go through everything we needed to know. He also left a folder of directions to figure out something in the apartment or help explore the area. It also included other people to reach if there was an issue and he was unavailable. The space was plenty large enough for our family of 4 to stay for six nights. Having laundry in the apartment was a definite bonus. Compared to hotels in the area, we got more for less money. The neighborhood was full of shops, restaurants and bars and is also very close to metro stations. Despite all the activity, it was nice and quiet inside as the apartment is toward the back of the building. Renters should be prepared to climb a few stairs but this unique gem is well worth it!

Hi/Salut/Hola/Ola/Ciao/Merhaba/Salam/Namaste

I am half Spanish and half British, I worked as a project manager until recently and now leading walking holidays around the world with a UK based company. I love to travel and learning about world cultures. I've been based in Paris for 10 years, lived in the UK and Spain for many years, and also in Brazil and Turkey.

I love the idea of Airbnb as I really enjoy meeting interesting and open minded people from all over the world and sharing travel experiences. I have made a lot of great new friends.
I'll be happy to help you plan your stay in Paris in whatever way I can: language questions, transport information, recommendations on sights, restaurants, clubs, cafes...etc.
When I'm not in Paris my friends Lucky and Philippe will be available for any help you need, and I'm always just a phone call/instant message/email way.

Above all, enjoy your trips to this beautiful city!
