The apartment is located in a late 50's familiar building, at a few minutes walking from Trindade, Clérigos, Bolhão, Casa da Música and much more! Depending on your mood, you can go walking everywhere or take a public transport just at the door!
Our apartment is located on the 3th floor of a familiar building from the late 50's, in a residential zone, and really close to the major attractions of the city downtown. It is decorated with a mix between some portuguese and international vintage stuff and contemporary pieces and, since we're both connected to the art world (Carlos is a visual artist and I'm a graphic designer), you'll find all kinds of artwork around the space.
In the room, you'll find Olaio furniture (a 60's considered portuguese furniture factory) wrapped up in a relaxing atmosphere created by clear and elegant tones. The room is pretty bright and spacious and has a small private balcony with a view to Praça da República and Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Lapa.
This is a three rooms apartment that is our own home, so you will share the space with us and probably with other guests.
It will be a pleasure to have you here!
Guests will have access to a private bedroom with a double bed (133 x 183 cm), keys and a private balcony with a view to Praça da República and Igreja da Lapa.
There is a small but cosy and equipped kitchen at your disposition (with a fridge, a gas oven, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle), where you can easily prepare a meal or a breakfast to take in the dinning room or at the marquee, with a beautiful view of Boavista and the sea on the horizon.
You'll have access to a full shared bathroom and a shared service toilet, with a hair dryer at your disposition.
Amenities like towels are included and we can provide shampoo and shower gel WHEN REQUIRED. We also have umbrellas to provide, so you do not have to carry this extra stuff with you.
Guests are not allowed to go to the backyard.
Since we work by ourselves, but outside home, we have ways to manage our time and to be there for guests, you just need to ask. But if you want to be by yourself, we will respect it.
If you're coming with friends or on a family trip, you can all stay at our home. We have another room in the apartment with a double bed that fits two.
If you have a little kid, we can try to manage a small mattress on the floor for an extra of 10€. Tell us about it!
• Check-in time is 6-7PM.
• Not infant-friendly (0-2 years)
• No parties or events
• Not suitable for pets
• No smoking
The apartment is our beloved home, so the only thing we ask of our guests is just to respect that and take care of the space.
You'll have your own keys, so you're free to go out and come back as you want, but please be respectful with the neighbours and don't make noise in the stairs.
Smoking is not allowed inside the room, home or building, and please do not throw cigarette butts from the balcony, just ask for an ashtray.
Please, do not waste water, lighting or heating when not needed and always turn off the lights and close the windows and the door with the keys when leaving.
