Three-story townhouse is Lakeview. Mid-century architecture, lots of character. Some things are in need of renovating, but the house is comfortable, complete, and conveniently located.
The main floor has a newly remodeled kitchen which opens onto the dining room/living room space. There is a small patio in the back with a barbecue for alfresco dining, a very small front garden, and a half-bath next to the kitchen. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and two full baths, one ensuite with the master bedroom, and one next to the second bedroom. There is a full finished basement with a washer and dryer.
The upstairs bathrooms are old and in need of renovation, but everything works just fine.
Lakeview is one of the most popular neighborhoods in the city, lots of restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and an urban feel. It is also right next to Lincoln Park which runs along Lake Michigan. The beach is about a 15 minute walk. Public transportation is frequent and plentiful, getting to the Magnificent Mile or downtown is simple and close.
Though most of the neighborhood is apartment buildings, these townhomes have architectural interest and lots of character. Our home is fully equipped, comfortable, and personal.
Except for the upstairs studio (3rd bedroom), guests have access to the whole house.
Our housekeeper, Vira Bernadina, will check you in and out. You can contact her at anytime if you have a problem. Her email is (EMAIL HIDDEN) Her cell is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
The new countertops are VERY soft soapstone and chip and scratch easily. Please be extra careful not to cut on them or drop anything on them.
No smoking inside.
No shoes in the house.
