A comfortable home in the foothills to stay in while exploring the area. We are located very close to Interstate 40. Less than an hour from Charlotte, Asheville, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to Hickory and the furniture mart. We practice an active and healthy lifestyle.
Our home is a comfortable ranch house located within walking distance to town. A private bedroom and bathroom (on occasion may be shared) is for your use during your stay. We have a large open kitchen and a brick patio as well as plenty of casual relaxing space.
Please use the front door entrance when you arrive!! We invite you to share our home. Open spaces include a family room, living room, kitchen and brick patio. The common space is spacious enough that you can find your own privacy if you choose.

Hazel and I enjoying traveling, meeting people and staying active. Every day is a good day! My profession keeps me in the office so every opportunity we get, we take the time to enjoy the outdoors. Between Hazel and I, we have four college aged daughters.
We enjoy the opportunities that home sharing provides from our many experiences as guests and now want to add to that by hosting in our home and affording people the opportunity to visit our area. We are happy to provide you with a private room and bathroom, with shared living space and kitchen. We are conveniently located to Interstate 40 thus that makes our home a central place to visit the many attractions in the area...from walking and shopping on the quaint streets of Blowing Rock; dining and visiting art museums in Charlotte; attending the drumming circle, Biltmore or Grove Park Inn in Asheville; walking into town on the sidewalk outside of our home and strolling Main Street; or hiking or kayaking our many trails and rivers, Western NC is a great place to spend time.
