Located on a quiet street within walking distance of Uintah Street and Colorado Avenue, near the Midland Trail, Pikes Peak and Uintah bike routes. Three blocks to the Colorado Avenue bus line. A relaxing retreat with views of Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mountain and Bear Creek Canyon.
The apartment totals 900 square feet: The large living room includes day bed; dining room seats 8-10; the kitchen includes range, refrigerator, microwave, basic dishes, electric kettle, utensils and dishwasher; the bathroom has a 5’ cast iron tub, toilet and two sinks; basement laundry room with washer and dryer .
You enter the apartment via the private front entrance. It is the ground floor apartment that is quiet, clean, and efficient — a nice calming space. Front windows give the stunning panoramic view of Cheyenne Mountain to Pikes Peak. We grow organic foods in our gardens. Our native buffalo grass lawn and gardens are outside your windows. We hope you enjoy visiting.

In order for you to have the best experience at this altitude, some things of which you may wish to be mindful include: Because of the arid climate, drink plenty of water, which in Colorado Springs comes fresh from the mountain streams. Also, alcoholic beverages are about twice as potent here as at sea level, so one drink may equal two of what you may be accustomed to. Please remember to use sunscreen— hats and sunglasses are highly advisable.

Please be considerate of our neighbors in regard to volume and parking. They are friends as well and happy to help, so please be thoughtful! We cannot accommodate pets. Any guest behaving disruptively will be asked to leave with no refund.

I am a visual artist and gardener who is comfortable camping in the wilds of Colorado to sitting on the platforms in the NYC subways painting subway musicians. My warm and interesting experiences completing my "100 Bottles of Colorado Beer of the Wall" painting series recording my travel through out the entire state to all the first 100 micro breweries to bottle their beer fulfil my pleasure of meeting new people and experiences .
