We are a professional, friendly, hospitable married couple with two adult daughters at university (Leeds, and Harvard, USA). Our names are Penny and Henry, we are in our mid fifties and are an arts project manager and architect respectively. We speak English, Polish and some French. Our interests include music (hence the piano), Yoga, Pilates, swimming, gardening, cooking and travelling.
The property is a clean, comfortable, 4 bedroom family home in Zone 2, with only one guest room available.
The guest room is at the rear of the house and is a pretty and quiet room with a large double bed, wardrobe, clean bedding and towels, and access to private bathroom (not en suite).

Complementary teas, coffee, milk and good quality muesli-cereal for breakfast
The private bathroom has a bath with shower, hand basin and toilet.
There is wireless wifi throughout the house, a washing machine, and a piano.

I work from home so will generally be around if you need anything. My partner and I are native Londoners and know the city well.
Because I work from home, if you plan to be around a lot during the day, please make that clear when you first message me.
We have a small black and white short haired cat. She is timid and will probably hide. However it is best to keep your bedroom door shut unless you want feline company!
Our cleaner blitzes the house on Wednesday mornings from 8.30/9am to 12pm so there will be some noise on this day. They will not disturb your room though.
No booking requests more than six months in advance, please.
Check-in: Between 3pm and 8pm (can be earlier if no guests the day before)
Check-out: By 12 noon, but flexible if no other guests are expected on the same date. Please discuss check-out time on arrival so I can plan too.
Presentation of ID or passport upon arrival.
No smoking in the room or house please. But smokers may smoke in the garden, there are chairs and ashtrays!
No food stored in the bedroom for hygiene reasons.
No cooking after 5pm as the kitchen will be busy but you're welcome to make teas/coffee

Describing yourself is always hard! My friends would say I'm creative, fair and supportive. By profession I'm a Producer and Project Manager in the UK arts and cultural sector and have spent 30 years working with artists, dancers and musicians. I love all the arts and am also passionate about literature and history of science/pyschology. I'm married with two daughters who are both at university - studying music, and Art (hurray!). My husband is an architect and we live in London. We love to travel as much as we can and have recently been to Marrakech, New York and Rome.
