We don't provide breakfast but guests are welcome to bring food to prepare their own breakfast and use all of our kitchen facilities to do so. The use of our kitchen for lunch and dinner is not permitted. You are welcome to enjoy our deck and patio during the warm seasons.
If you wish, we have lots of ideas for great activities in the area and like to share. Sometimes guests have all their plans already and enjoy their independence and that is great too.
Our cat is not welcome in any of the bedrooms but can be found in all of the common spaces.
We don't stay up late and loud and expect the same of our guests.

We enjoy receiving guests in our own home and visiting as we travel.
Virtually all of my travelling happens with my husband Ken. As we were raising our family, we explored a lot of North America (from Seward, Alaska to Key Largo Florida, from Chula Vista, California to Cape Spear, Newfoundland. We tend to spend a lot of time at big green patches on the map (such as National Parks) and at significant metropolitan venues.
Ken and I are recently retired. Ken was a supervisor with the Ministry of Natural Resources and I was a teacher. Ken spends a lot of his time constructing (rooms, deck, etc.) in our new home. I'm involved in community theatre. I spend a lot of time planning travel adventures!
We are pretty independent, self-directed travellers as I've taken advantage of the minutiae of information that is available on the internet. However, we're always very interested in meeting people and talking about their ideas. Learning about different points-of-view is one of the wonderful benefits of travelling.
