Cosy, bright and quiet apartment 2min from the next subway station (5min to central station, 3min to city centre, two lines). Grocery stores, cafés and just all you need right around the corner. The beautiful Isar is only 5min down the road.
The apartment is bright due to the location on the 4th floor of the building and has a large balcony with an amazing view. There is a table and 4 chairs on the balcony so you can sit there by yourself or with friends and enjoy - even in February or March if you wrap up warmly - a lovely breakfast, coffee or a glas of wine. Alternatively there are lots of nice restaurants and cafés right around the corner. You can also reach the city centre in 3 minutes by subway. If you like a walk or run along the Isar it is right on your doorstep down the road.
The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need. The practical and comfortable sofa bed makes it to a lovely living room during the day and a cosy bedroom at night. There is also a fully equipped kitchen in order to prepare yourself a nice meal (stove, oven, fridge with a freezer compartment, toaster, electric kettle, coffe making facilities, pots and pans etc.).
In the spacious bathroom with a bathtub you can either have a quick shower in the morning or run yourself a relaxing bath after a tough day. You will also find towels, a hair dryer and hair straightener.
There are washing machines in the basement for common use (1,50 per load) as well as dryers so you won't have to dry your laundry in the apartment if you don't like. Else there is a drying rack in the apartment. If you need to iron your clothes there is also an iron and an ironing board.
There is wifi in the apartment (free of charge) which you can use and a TV with a DVD player. As you can see the TV is not exacty state of the art and reception is rather bad but you do get a number of channels. So if you are a TV person this might not be the right thing for you. I honestly don't use it very often or watch movies online.
The whole apartment, that is the cosy living/bed room, the bathroom, separate kitchen and balcony are yours and you can make yourself at home.
For the first check-in and the last check-out in March I will very likey be the one you'll be in contact with. In the meantime I might ask a friend to let you in. Before renting the apartment I would also like to get to know you (video call or phone) because I love my apartment very much and want to be sure that the person renting it is reasonable and trustworthy.
1. The reason why I'm renting my apartment is that I will be traveling for about 6 weeks. Thus, I prefer to find someone who likes to rent the apartment for the whole time or at least a couple of weeks as I cannot manage the check-out/check-in myself while I'm travelling. I don't know my travel dates yet so there is some flexibility about the check-in and check-out date. Especially the check-out may also be a couple of days later. So if you're interested just contact me and we'll figure it out.
2. The announced price for one month refers to the time in which the apartment is available during the months of February and March. So, this will be 900,- from 6 until 29 February and 900,- from 1 until 20 March (maybe until 25 March without extra charge).
3. The apartment is perfect for 1 person. However, it is also suitable for a very happy and peaceful couple at least for a short period of some weeks. In case you would like to rent the apartment as a couple there is an extra charge of 10,- per day.
The apartment is a strictly no smoking apartment. However, you may smoke on the balcony. Pets are unfortunately not allowed. Apart from that there are no specific rules or policies (Well, okay actually you're not supposed to use the washing machines on sundays. So basically sundays are perfect to do your laundry ;)). There are a lot of neighbors in the house who will be happy if you don't turn on ear-shattering music in the middle of the night. So I suggest you just follow common sense.
I'm living in Munich and love beautifully decorated apartments which make you feel comfortable instantly when you open the door. That is why I spend much time decorating and furnishing my own place and why I love staying at other people's places in different cities instead of a standard hotel room.
I highly appreciate the risk everyone who rents out their own apartment takes and alwas leave places I stay in the way I'd like to find them respectively as I found them ;).
My most favorite country although it is right on our doorstep in Munich is Italy because of the amazing food, wine and the weather. One of my dreams is travelling Italy for 2 or even better 3 weeks and just moving from one perfect to the next even more perfect spot.
But also in other countries and cities I always prefer staying in a private apartment because it gives so much more flexibility and comfort. You don't have to get up at these ridiculous hotel times to get breakfast and it just gives a completely different perspective. You can also make yourself at home within minutes which is really important for us at Christmas. Because every years at Christmas we meet as a family in Berlin and are always looking for a cosy, spacious apartment where we can have a wonderful time as a family in peace and harmony (and that's quite a lot to ask for at Christmas...I know ;)).
