Minutes from Old Town Pasadena, a short drive or Gold Line ride to Downtown LA, but feels like a world away. My mid-century traditional is situated on a 1/4 acre lot with patio and mature landscaping and located on a quiet, dead-end street with easy access to hiking and mountain biking trails. Unrestricted street and driveway parking. 2-bedroom, 1 bath house with cable and wifi. A relaxing escape after a day in the city.
Mid-century traditional home on a quiet, dead-end street steps away from the San Gabriel Mountains and its extensive trail system. Approximately 1000 square feet of indoor space includes 2 bedrooms with a full-size bed in each; 1 bath with tub/shower combination; kitchen; dining room; and living room. This is the ideal space for people who want easy access to the amenities of LA but want to relax in a quiet environment at the end of the day.
Indoor space includes living room, kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with shower/tub combination. 11,000 square foot yard with patio, BBQ grill, and mature landscaping. There's ample, unrestricted street parking and you are welcome to park in the driveway if you want.
I am available via e-mail and phone if you need to reach me during your stay.
--One person and a friendly, quiet, tiny dog live on the first floor of the house, but the two spaces are completely separate from one another.
--The street is fairly steep. If you're going to park on the street, the emergency brake is essential.
--The stove is a vintage O'Keefe and Merritt. It works great, but the oven temperature on the dial isn't accurate. There's a thermometer inside of the oven to inform you what the actual temperature is.
--The San Gabriel Mountains are steps away. Animals live in the San Gabriel (URL HIDDEN) expect to potentially see/hear a variety of birds, reptiles (lizards on the patio), and mammals (bobcats, skunks, raccoons, coyotes, deer, and the occasional mountain lion and bear.) To avoid drawing animals, please don't leave food outside overnight.
--All indoor and outdoor space on the property is 100% non-smoking.
--I love pets but can't accommodate any on the property.
--I collect mid-century furniture, glassware, and kitchenware. The kitchen cabinets and drawers are fully stocked with contemporary stuff with which to cook and eat, so please leave the old stuff on display.
--Please respect the tranquility of the neighborhood and its residents by refraining from parties, loud music, etc.
