2 rooms available: one has 2 twin beds, and the other has a king bed. Both rooms use the same bathroom across the hall with a walk-in shower and double sinks. The price includes 2 people in one of the rooms, not guaranteeing the vacancy of the other.
Sorry, no pets.
We have two rooms in addition to the two rooms in our bed & breakfast. Both AIrbnb rooms have electric fireplaces to take the chill off when cold weather hits. Both rooms also have two comfortable reading chairs. One room has a king bed and the other has twin beds. The double sink, walk-in shower bathroom is in the hall and shared by these two rooms. You will have access to our library which overlooks the city and Bellingham Bay. All rooms are on the second floor, with 16 steps to reach it.
We are located in the Samish Neighborhood, at the end of a dead end street. It is very quiet here. However, we are just a 5 minute drive to almost everything: WWU, Fairhaven, downtown Bellingham. We are a 45 minute drive to Mt Baker Ski Area. And we are just down the road from Galbraith Mountain, with world famous mountain bike trails.
Coffee and scones are included in the room charge, however no breakfast without an extra charge.
We have a lovely garden which will be a restful spot after your days of exploring the Pacific Northwest.
You will have access to our library which has lovely seating to look out over the city and bay. Our book shelves are full. If you find a book and you want to finish it, you are welcome to take it with you.
You will also have access to the tv which is in the common area. Coffee and scones are served every morning. We have a small fridge with bottled water.
Please note that you will have no access to kitchen facilities here.
Also, this is a "Smoke Free Property." No smoking inside or outside.
Sorry, no smoking, no pets. Check in hour is usually 4pm. Other arrangements can be made ahead. We are located in a quiet neighborhood, so our guests are encouraged to be quiet also. Free parking on site.
My husband and I are just entering that wonderful time in life where we are able to travel, having the means to do so, and the time and health also. And having a bed and breakfast along with AirBnb helps us do just that! We have visited England, Ireland, Italy, and Scotland, with plans to add many more countries to that list. I do love this new job of being an innkeeper...best job I've ever had! I even enjoy ironing the sheets! I have found that only nice people stay in b&b's. Our garden keeps me busy; weeding isn't so bad after all! We have delightful friends who travel with us and keep us well entertained. I absolutely delight in meeting my guests and making new friends of them all.
