The Pohutukawa Cabin overlooks the treasured Karikari Bay. You will have your own quiet self contained garden cabin in a private setting with your own private walk around outside beach themed bathroom and rain forest shower with a view.

There is free use of the WiFi, BBQ (with gas) Kayaks, SUP Paddle boards, and Boogie boards This listing is for two people only.

You will have a spacious room with a Queen size bed and fully equipped kitchenette and dining area.The front side of the cabin offers you an outstanding view of Karikari Bay and farmland.

The walk around outside undercover and private beach themed bathroom is spacious, and provides you with a rain forest shower with a view.

Enjoy your time on your own private deck

When you stay 1 or 2 nights you receive (self catering) continental breakfast and bacon and eggs. Self catering at your leisure.

Stay 3 nights or more not only receive your continental breakfast and breakfast pack consisting of bacon and eggs, you will also receive a yummy cheese plater. All self catering in your own time.

Our neighborhood is unique, it is made up of a very broad spectrum of people who love to chat and interact. There is a service station, convenience store, liquor store fish and chip shop, Bar, and dive shop all in close proximity to the Pohutukawa cabin.

Kia ora koutou katoa (Hello to you all)

We are a Pasifika family and strive to provide comfortable, clean and safe accommodation for our guests. Whether you seek adventure with your kids or a romantic getaway or a fun filled trip with friends we @Karikari Lodge have you covered and well equipped for our guests to have a great stay. We promise to ensure you will have the best travelling and chilled experience with us.We are pretty laid back type of people. But in saying that we take the needs of our guests seriously, and do our best to make their stay with us an awesome one. We will go the extra yard within reason. In our spare time we love listening to music, with CCR and Led Zeplin being some of our all time favourite groups, and you cant beat sitting down to a good movie, Breaking Bad, The Bridge, The Killing, Treme, just to name a few. When it comes to food Katalina is a great chef and we so do enjoy fresh fish and chips especially if we have caught the fish. Hey but in saying that Katalina loves Thai food and never gives up a chance to sit down at a Thai Restaurant. We dont really have any hard and fast house rules. You know the old saying "treat people the way you would like to be treated" That word respectful comes to mind.
