2 cottages secluded on an acre of wooded property, booked together sleeps 7. 2 beds, 1 futon, 1 roll away cot. 2 minute walk to Treasure Cay Beach, 3 min walk to a private cove. Close enough to do everything but far away to do nothing at all.
A quiet and unique space, close to nature, where you can hear the waves and watch the hermit crabs scurry along. Walk the beautiful white sand beaches, swim in the turquoise waters, snorkel right off shore or just sit and relax the day away.
All outdoor green spaces are open to guests. Each cottage has a private deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee, an afternoon drink (it can always be 5:00 when on vacation) or read a good book.
The Host lives on the property and is always available to answer questions or offer suggestions but also respects everyone's privacy and is never intrusive.
We can help with stocking your cottage food or drinks prior to arrival if needed.
If you are looking for a peaceful space in nature this is your space.
*Outside light use restricted after 10:00pm
*No smoking inside the cottage, if smoking outside cigarettes must be disposed of properly.
*No open flame in or around the cottage or decks i.e. candles, torches or BBQ grills. There is a BBQ grill on the grounds available for use.
We offer the utmost of respect to our guests and expect the same in return, for the property, other visitors and the cottage.
I love to cook and work in my garden. I enjoy the peace and quiet of living in the islands and the time spent with my family. My favourite saying is "Every morning I awake torn between a desire to save the world and an inclination to savour it; this makes it hard to plan the day".
The property that I am currently hosting, and residing on, has been in my family for 5 generations and is the original landing site of the British Loyalists that fled New York after the United States won their independence. I am a native born Bahamian and as a host I would like to share the beauty of my country with my guests and offer them a truly unique experience off the proverbial "beaten path".
The Cottages were built by my parents in the mid seventies and it is my pleasure to still have them available so that guests may enjoy this extremely unique and tranquil location. We have had travelers from all over the world stay with us and they all have the same comment when asked how we can improve, the response is "don't change anything!"
Everyone that visits takes a little piece home in their hearts and leaves a little piece to be nurtured by this special place until they return again.
