A cozy one bedroom in the heart of Red Hook. Brimming with character: original tin ceilings, hardwood floors, sunny living room, and secluded backyard. Around the corner from coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and shops. Blocks from the waterfront park
Old building (1900) with tons of character. Tin ceilings in bedroom, hardwood floors throughout. High ceilings and lots of windows with light. Great little backyard. Some custom built furniture throughout. Great record player and stereo as well as book collection. Across the street from the wonderful Baked coffee shop.
You will have access to the whole apartment: Bedroom, Living room, Kitchen, Bathroom. There is a shared backyard for the few tenants of the building.
Happy to leave keys or meet you depending on the time of your stay. I will leave you a list of things to check out in the neighborhood. Both of us live and work in the neighborhood so we are happy to give you tips on things to do and see.
Please note this apartment is our home and not an extra apartment we rent out solely for guests. We are both artists and rent out our space when we tour, do residences, etc. We are happy to share the space with you, but please be respectful. It's quaint nature is a result of the care we put into it and we ask that you do the same when sharing the space.
The bed is a full-size mattress and fits 2 people with plenty of room. It is a lofted bed.
Red Hook is a small neighborhood with a very intimate community. Our building is of a similar character. We ask that you be respectful. No loud music or noise. No smoking indoors (feel free to use the backyard!).
I am a musician from new york who likes to travel, hike, eat good food, and meet new people.
