Stablebase is a completely private wing of our house purpose built as holiday accommodation in 2015. The house is extremely energy efficient and achieved a 7.8 star enegy rating way above the required standard. We have tried to minimise the environmental impact of the property by including features such as rainwater harvesting, Photovoltaic cells and very efficient hot water units. The land around the house has been replanted with lots of trees and the hill adjacent to the house has been set aside and revegetated to help bring native wildlife and birds back to the property. Close to the house are chickens, vergetable patch and kitchen garden that guests are welcome to use during your stay.
The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a queen and a king (or 2 long singles. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, one of which is fully disabled compliant.
The main living space has living dining and well equipped kitchen with induction cooktop. The living space opens onto a deck through french doors.
Stablebase is a self contained wing of our property. It is accessed through the main entry hall shared with our wing of the house or via glass doors directly from a deck area and guest parking. Guest are welcome to stroll around our 6 acre block, chat to the horses and chooks and pick a few home grown veggies and herbs for dinner.

The area is great for kids but there is a retaining wall at the front of our house with a 1.8m drop, please consider whether this is suitable for you when making the booking.
Decent quality broadband hasn't made its way to Robinson yet so we are unable to offer wifi to guests, there is mobile coverage though and internet can be accessed through your mobile if you have that service.
