This is a downstairs apartment in a beautiful 100 year old home. It features two bedrooms, kitchen, livingroom with dining area and bath. It is located in the Annesdale Snowden area of midtown Memphis (The Peabody House is an Airbnb upstairs). This is located on a busy street/intersection and there us a certain amount of city noise - traffic and sirens.
This is a charming two bedroom, one bath apartment with ten foot ceilings and laminate floors. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with super comfortable mattress. The fully furnished kitchen has everything guests needs. Computer/work space could be set up at the desk alcove, dining table or living room. The City, County and State are, effective June 1, 2017, imposing sales and hotel-type privilege taxes, as well as a nightly assessment of $2.00. The taxes amount to 12.75% of the nightly rate. Finally, it has been worked out between Airbnb and the City of Memphis, for Airbnb to collect the privilege taxes during booking. However, they have left it to the hosts to collect the sales tax of 7%, so we will be requesting the 7% tax before, during or after your stay. If you have any problem in paying this sales tax (which will amount to $7.00 per night, please contact us and we will be glad to discuss options. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

We love to travel and have visited Italy, France, South America, England and the British Isles, Germany, Canada, and many more including cruises. We divide our time between Memphis and Santa Rosa Beach and our children and grandchildren love to visit us at the beach!
We like to work, travel, read, bike, go to movies, dinner with friends, and spend time with family. Our motto is a sign in our home: Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much!
We like to meet new people and will be great hosts for our airbnb guests!
