This room is the master suite of the house. It features a large walk in closet, private full bath with standing shower, modern windows, Bamboo flooring, a comfy queen size bed and computer nook with wifi.
Colorful, newly remodeled 1960s house. Bamboo floors, new kitchen, big and lush backyard food forest, yoga deck, large hammock on the back porch to lounge in when the weather is nice. Relax in our backyard garden where you'll find an ever changing array of veggies plus numerous fruit and flowing trees. We are growing figs, bananas, apples, pears, kiwi, lemon, lime, persimmon, plum, apricot and loquats. Our property is 1/3 of an acre and we are taking advantage of using our land to grow food organically and sustainably. There are lots of butterflies, humming birds, cardinals and other types of critters here.
We offer access to our kitchen, back yard, hammock laundry facilities, dining and living room to our guests.
We love guests who are like to connect and share. But shy ones are great too. We respect where you're at.
We obviously have a little guy who is awesome BUT he's a toddler and does what toddlers do. He is super chill and social and might just become your best lil friend. Your room, however, is on the complete opposite side of the house from ours and separated by several doors so noise is generally not a problem.
We are a family house. We are fun and gregarious but pretty low key and relaxed as well. If you use public spaces such as kitchen, living, dining, laundry you're expected to clean up after yourself.

Hey there, I'm Kristikka (Kris Hostikka) and I live in Austin with my family you see in the pic. Jon is my partner and Miles is our amazing little guy. We are a creative and fun loving family and love to connect with people. I am an artist and in particular, have a passion for creating space. Our house is full of vibrant color and original artwork. It has a community vibe and our cool ass roommates live here too. We are super friendly and respectful if you want to interact or not. You are welcome to hang with us in the common spaces and use the kitchen if you like. We are foodies and can also recommend some great restaurants and things to do in town. I hope we can add some brightness to your stay in this great city of Austin! Cheers:)
