Beautiful 55m2 apartment in the heart of Paris, 5 min from Saint Lazare, in Paris 17th.
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Louis, however I stayed with his house mate. Primarily my experience here was lovely, Martin was very generous and insisted I ate his food and could help my self to whatever I wanted. He had people round a fair few times during my stay and I was kept up past 1/2am on week nights. I work in the week and having just started a new job would have appreciated more respect regarding noise late at night. The room and location are good, it could have been cleaner but it was fine. There is no lock on the bedroom or bathroom door and I felt a little uncomfortable showering without a lock in a house which was sometimes full of guys. The worst part of my stay was the Thursday before the Saturday that I was due to leave and was the reason for why I checked out a day early. Having finished exams Martin had a house party with lots of his friends which I think is completely fair enough. However as this was still a week day and he knew I had work in the morning they all stayed up, music, drinking games etc until 3am. I decided not to say anything because as a student I completely understand finishing exams and wanting to celebrate. However, when I returned back from work on Friday it was obvious that someone had slept in my bed after I left that morning. My clothes that I had put on the bed ready to pack had all been moved as had the covers. Luckily I have friends in Paris so was able to spend my last night before I went to my new apartment with them. This is not acceptable especially considering the amount of money I spent on this air bnb. I sent Martin a message regarding this and he did not reply. I think it is a little unfair and also quite rude. I feel like this airbnb is ideal for short period of time however 2 weeks was just a little too much.
