This magical experience starts in our meeting spot in our town Chemuyil, where we will get ready for our adventure. My town is located: -20-25 mins approx. from Tulum (downtown) -35-40 mins approx. from Playa del Carmen (downtown) -2 hrs. approx. from Cancun (downtown) If you don’t have a car, or don’t know how to get to this place, please feel free to contact me to get more recommendations on transportation you can use. This is a LOCAL EXPERIENCE. You will get to know, not only these cenotes that have seen us grow up, but places with a lot of meaning to us. We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Riding the bicycles will be, 20-25 mins(total). Distance from cenote to cenote is 5-10 mins. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. Instead, if you want to experience our hometown, our cenotes, having adventures, talk to us, share stories and making new friends while getting to know about our project, then you have found the perfect experience for you. • Nos encontraremos en la Calle Ctm con playa • Llegando te daré una breve explicación para conocer la técnica de remado sobre una tabla de SUP y nos iremos a explorar toda la zona disfrutando del hermoso amanecer, peces y el increíble agua • ¿Es tu primera vez? No te preocupes, seré tu apoyo de principio a fin y te regalaré unas buenas fotos para que siempre recuerdes este momento. ~ Importante ~ Lleva toalla y la mejor actitud porque la pasaremos increíble ;)

En nuestro lugar de paz “Temazcal y Masajes Pixan” somos un equipo de personas mostrando nuestra cultura, todos son bienvenidos a nuestro espacio Con el apoyo de nuestros compañeros les damos la bienvenida y los llevamos a un lugar de descanso (palapa) y explicamos el proceso del Temazcal, y como lo hacían nuestros antepasados. Calentamos las piedras con leña, Usamos copal e incienso, medicina para el equilibrio de la energía que limpia antes de entrar al Temazcal desde ese momento experimentas una conexión espiritual. Después, entramos al Temazcal y nos sentamos alrededor del ombligo. Luego se emergen las piedras de origen volcánico previamente calentadas, que emiten vapor cuando rociamos agua con infusiones de plantas sanadoras encima de las abuelas piedras. El lugar se vuelve muy cálido mientras, a través de cantos y rezos, los participantes llegan a un contacto consigo mismos y aprenderemos la importancia de la palabra, el silencio y la fuerza de los cantos. Se realizan 4 puertas (4 tiempos) dentro del ritual, en los cuales entre cada uno se abrirán las puertas para bajar la temperatura y el ingreso de nuevas abuelas piedras. Al terminar salimos y nos duchamos en el jardín con una regadera rustica, el agua purifica nuestro cuerpo. Después disfrutamos abundantes y variadas frutas, agua de clorofila y delicioso guacamole ;)

In the Maya language, Akumal means place of the turtle. That is because many sea turtles are full-time residents of Akumal Bay. That makes seeing turtles out in the bay very possible when you're with an experienced guide like me. I'll meet you near the beach and provide you with life jacket and snorkeling gear. I will then take you through an exclusive entrance onto the beach of Akumal Bay. At the beach, I'll give you instructions on how to use your equipment, where we'll be swimming, what marine life you can expect to see, how to be mindful and respectful of the marine life and environment, and most importantly, how to be safe in the water. Once we enter the water, we'll take a brief pause to make sure everyone is comfortable in the water and with their equipment. Then, I'll guide you around the circuit and show you all of the marine life that Akumal Bay has to offer. You can see sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, reef squid, coral reef and many other tropical fish. After we've had fun in the water, we'll head back to shore and I'll take your equipment. If you need any help with the rest of your day, I'll be there to assist you. Other things to note You do not need to be a strong swimmer to participate in my tour but you should at least be comfortable in the water. The bay can be closed on occasion due to adverse weather conditions.

Ancient culinary techniques, fresh ingredients, tortillas made from scratch, flavors of our traditional Mexico, everything is set and carefully curated for a cultural and gastronomical immersion to the deepest traditions and roots of our Mesoamerican civilizations. In a beautiful Mexican-style house, surrounded by gardens, our Culinary Experience starts off with a brief, yet quite informative, introduction to the essential flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine We will also do a mezcal tasting so you can learn how to identify a good one! Then, moving on to the unique experience of preparing an authentic Mexican meal from scratch! We try to always use traditional utensils, like metate and molcajete, to have a real cooking experience. Many of the dishes you will learn and help cook come from my own family’s cookbook. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food and the experience itself! This all happens in an ambiance full of joy, music and laughter, recreating the sense of fellowship and warmth of cooking at home with friends.

Al llegar y tras una breve presentación, saldremos con el guía designado y desde el punto de encuentro Akumal Natura Glamping y visitaremos un refugio de flora y fauna silvestres. Aprenderás acerca de los planes de Rehabilitación, Reproducción y Reintegración de los mas de 85 animales de diferentes especies que albergamos. Tendrás un encuentro muy cercano con varios animales. Siguiendo los lineamientos de Naciones Unidas con respecto al bienestar de animales silvestres. Podrás acercarte y aprenderás con las explicaciones acerca de cada uno de ellos. Podrás conocer el árbol tóxico, el árbol doctor el árbol del chicle, y otros. Plantarás un árbol en la jungla mejorarando así tu huella ecológica. Conocerás la abeja melipona sin aguijón y podrás degustar su miel y aprender un poco mas acerca de la polinización y la vida y costumbres de este insecto declarado recientemente por la ONU el ser vivo mas importante del planeta. Tras la visita emprenderemos al melipona río nos dirigiremos a nuestra unidad de manejo ambiental para conocer de cerca las actividades e iremos por un sendero en la jungla hasta llegar a 200 metros a un magnifico cenote subterráneo donde podrás zambullirte y nadar en sus aguas iluminadas y cristalinas.

After a journey of more than 8km in the middle of the jungle, we will immerse ourselves in a cave and underground river system for a guided exploration, crossing the most surreal rock formations. Helmets well screwed on the head, and water shoes on, we will let our lights pierce the darkness and silence to make way for a world as ancient as magical. During the first part of the visit, which is mainly conducted walking and does not require any specific swimming level, you will understand the deep relationships that link the Mayan civilization and the jungle to the majestic Cenotes. In the last part, we will have the opportunity to swim, relax and snorkel in a fantastic and out of this world natural pool.   We will recover from our emotions and share around a meal composed of local specialties cooked in the jungle on a fire pit. Akumal es el “Lugar de las Tortugas” en lengua Maya. Este santuario es un refugio y área protegida para las tortugas marinas. Nosotros; Martín y Melqui somos guías locales, qué crecimos desde niños en esta pequeña comunidad. Para nosotros es un privilegio llevarte a hacer snorkeling y nadar con tortugas blancas, verdes, con suerte peces de colores, arrecife de coral, rayas, calamares, y barracudas. La experiencia incluye; -Guía local. -1:30 hrs de duración. -Grupo pequeño y personalizado. -Chaleco, visor y tubo de snorkel. -Baños, duchas y lockers. -Brazalete privado para la playa, y la zona protegida de las tortugas. *Información destacable* -Las fotos y los vídeos de la galería GoPro que son tomadas en la actividad son un regalo sin coste alguno. Hello !! Ready to live this amazing experience? First, you will arrive at our bar where you will check in with us. You should arrive at least 30 minutes before the experience, so you will have enough time to order drinks and food that will accompany you to the top of our beautiful tower. Food and drinks are not included. Please keep in mind that it is not allowed to bring in drinks or food from outside. Keep your personal belongings in the lockers, and get your camera and phone ready because we have wifi, in case you want to broadcast live. When all the guests are ready, we will go to our gondola where 16 people at a time will live this exciting moment. We will go up to 118 feet high, very smoothly. The duration of this experience is 30 minutes, during which you will be able to sing along with our karaoke and listen to your favorite melodies surrounded by this great show in the middle of the Mayan jungle of Tulum. Our tower is located very close to the archaeological zone of Tulum, from here you will be able to take the best pictures of the sea and the ancient Mayan constructions. When it is time to go down our hostess will indicate it and then we will gently descend until we touch the ground. Finally, we can show you all the pictures we took and if you wish the fun can continue in our Bar.

vamos a un recorrido inolvidable en bote donde visitaremos el segundo arrecife mas grande del mundo que esta situado frente a las ruinas de Tulum para realizar el snorkel, donde podremos observar una gran diversidad de peces tropicales , tortugas y manta rayas, después haremos un paseo en bote en el cual veremos las ruinas de Tulum al igual que dos yacimientos ocultos, que únicamente pueden ser vistos desde el mar, y por ultimo visitaremos una caleta 100% libre de sargazo y totalmente natural situada en la orilla del mar en la cual podrán nadar libremente, todo esto en un ambiente seguro, y con personas profesionales.
