To round off our journey together, we'll take you around the edge of Times Square and finally we’ll discuss the demise of Prohibition over cocktails at our last venue stop. All 3 locations are completely hidden, no obvious bars in between. Some through vault doors with a required code and some that are down an alleys with multiple doors where you would need to know which door to open. Some even have all the drinks still in tea cups in case the police would raid them back in 1920's and was featured in the TV show Boardwalk Empire for its historical accurate decor and atmosphere. We provide historical facts by history teachers with educational and tour guide licenses. Our facts are solely from cross referenced academic sources. We furthermore work in conjunction NYC City Hall and the NYC Hall of Records to ensure the authenticity of the historical claims by each establishment we visit. We will be exploring the world via street food in the most diverse and delicious area in NYC just 15-20 minutes from Midtown Manhattan. We will be eating a lot, so come with an appetite! Consider this tour as lunch or dinner. In this neighborhood of Queens, carts and trucks come out with some of the most delicious food to be had in NYC. Many places we visit are hole in the wall, hidden gems that aren't easily noticed if you were to walk through the neighborhood on your own. These are places that we frequent and where we eat often and want to share them with you! We'll also share more information about the neighborhood, vendors and cuisines so you can learn more along with getting a great meal. Often, the vendors will change by day, so each tour may be unique. Our journey may take you from Tibet to Mexico and more in between. You will have the opportunity to learn more about New York City from a native's perspective and how it has changed over the years. Itineraries can be tweaked for dietary restrictions. Come with an open mind, comfortable shoes, empty stomach and we'll take care of the rest! This is our passion and we like our guests to feel like friends. We will be going on a culinary street food tour of Jackson Heights - the most diverse neighborhood in the world. We will eat food from 3 continents and more than 10+ countries and hear the sights and sounds of a vibrant neighborhood that is all connected via one long thoroughfare under the 7 train known as Roosevelt Avenue. We start in Woodside in Little Philippines, tasting various baked goods and salty/sweet concoctions, and learn the history of how these disparate groups got here in the first place.  Then just a few blocks over, we are transported to the world of South Asia - India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Tibet. See the clothing, feel the vibes, and try various street foods: award winning Tibetan momos, Bengali fuchka, Burmese goodies, and various fritters and on-the-go snacks of South Asia.  Just one block further, we will be instantaneously transported to Latin America - Mexican tortas,  the trendy and award-winning birria, tamales, Ecuadorean Hornado and Humitas, freshly made Colombian arepas and bunuelos, and Peruvian specialties as well. We will pass some historic LGBTQ nightclubs and learn the history of what made Jackson Heights a safe space for this community.  Believe it or not, by the end of the tour, we will not have covered all the diversity - there's a Chinatown that has Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian, and Cantonese food, & a separate Little Thailand

We will be exploring the world via street food in the most diverse and delicious area in NYC just 15-20 minutes from Midtown Manhattan. We will be eating a lot, so come with an appetite! Consider this tour as lunch or dinner. In this neighborhood of Queens, carts and trucks come out with some of the most delicious food to be had in NYC. Many places we visit are hole in the wall, hidden gems that aren't easily noticed if you were to walk through the neighborhood on your own. These are places that we frequent and where we eat often and want to share them with you! We'll also share more information about the neighborhood, vendors and cuisines so you can learn more along with getting a great meal. Often, the vendors will change by day, so each tour may be unique. Our journey may take you from Tibet to Mexico and more in between. You will have the opportunity to learn more about New York City from a native's perspective and how it has changed over the years. Itineraries can be tweaked for dietary restrictions. Come with an open mind, comfortable shoes, empty stomach and we'll take care of the rest! This is our passion and we like our guests to feel like friends. Growing up South Asian, our families expressed their love by making our favorite Bangladeshi dishes or surprising us randomly with cut fruit when we needed it most. Being in Jackson Heights, NYC's most culturally rich and diverse neighborhood, makes us feel like we are back home!
