In this experience, you will visit the unparalleled DOURO VALLEY, the first denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO. The day starts at our meeting point and then we will be heading to the Valley. For the drive we will do a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with all the astonishing viewpoints of the valley and where we have the first stop, a small winery from a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region), olive oil, and other products produced with olives and everything paired with local bread, jelly, cheeses, and hams. At this winery, we will have the chance to have a short walk at the vines and depending on the stage of the vineyard, learn about the work being done at the moment, such as pruning, grafting, and harvesting. The second stop is at Pinhão for a typical Portuguese lunch at a local tavern with great options for Vegans and Vegetarians. Still, at Pinhão, we have a 1-hour mini-cruise in a typical boat along the astonishing Douro River with the Valley as a background view (shared with other groups) The journey will continue through the National 222 in, direction of our last winery, something very small and intimate where you will have the chance to try the wines of the last local producer.

A late afternoon listening to the best of jazz and bossa nova. At dinner I will always be accompanied by a Portuguese or foreign friend who works in the areas of arts/society so that we can have a table as diverse as possible and with broader subjects. This Art Class is a time to explore and be in contact with several materials and let your creativity flow. There´s no need of prior knowledge of painting, it is suitable for beginners or the most experienced. The art class is held in an Art Gallery where I have my Studio also. In this space, you can be in contact with the work of other artists that is exhibited in the gallery at the moment. What we will do? In the first hour i will explain the essential basic you need to know to build strong aesthetic visual: color theory, value, composition, layers, marks. We’ll do some exercise to loosen up and get ready for the final work. Then, we will work on Fabrian paper or stretched canvas 30x40cm. I will show how to mix colors and pick your color palette. We will paint with brushes, colored pencils, and use materials that allow us to test different textures. All steps of the production of the artwork are accompanied by me. At the end, you will take your finished and signed canvas with as a souvenir of this experience together with the certificate of authenticity of their work issued by the Gallery.

This wine tasting is hosted by myself, Salvador Borges de Castro, a local professional sommelier with an expertise in Portuguese wines. I host this event in my own home, which makes it personal, authentic and comfortable. I introduce and share a selection of 5 different wines in every tasting session. No wines are ever the same for every event. Clients love the fact that I select wines that represent the various wine regions in Portugal. So for those visiting Lisbon, they get the chance to taste different wines sourced from all over the country. I also select lesser known wines. Often these wines are not available in supermarkets. Some of these wines are rare, produced with limited bottles and are difficult to find. In this tour, that lasts from 3 to 4 hours, we will follow the footsteps of the shepherd and his herd, looking for the greenest pastures. Be part of the shepherd's work day, listen to his stories and enter in communion with nature - smell, hear, feel and taste. At the end of the hiking activity, upon arriving at the pasture, we will share with him a small meal. The money we earn with the experience is not only to pay our work, insurance and the meal, but it is also shared with the shepherd. We live in a unique community and territory and we want to give back to it at least as much as we receive. Everything can be adapted and customized according to your wishes. IMPORTANT: Depending on the weather conditions, the shepherd's convenience, the particular characteristics of the herding activity and the ability of the group, we can follow a different plan / schedule or cancel the event. Hi everyone!! The idea of this experience is to provide the best possible full day in our hometown. Knowing Sintra like the back of our hands and all the magic it has to offer, we came up with what we believe to be the most amazing and complete way of experiencing its wonders in one full day! - Start the day in Lisbon in front of Dona Maria II Theater - Our first stop will be at the historic center of Sintra to discover its beautiful labyrinth like streets. We will talk about what makes Sintra so special while discovering its secrets and taste its unique pastry. - We will then discover the Palace of Quinta da Regaleira and get lost in its 4 hectares of mysticism and romantic arquitecture and gardens. - From here we will leave the tourists behind and go through the very picturesque and hidden towns of Colares, Penedo, Almoçageme etc. to reach the open atlantic coastline. - On the coastline we will go for a waterfront lunch before exploring its brethtaking cliff views and Cabo da Roca - The end of the World! -We will then have the best postcard like views of the Pena Palace and finish the tour with a visit to this unique romantic Palace. :) Other things to note Pick up and drop off in front of Dona Maria II Theater (15 walk from most areas on the city) Google location: https://g.page/TNDMII?share Meals and Monuments fees are not included.

We will sail along the Tagus river and enjoy the beautiful and full of history Lisbon's coast line. I always try to make this experience the most eco-friendly possible by using the sails, thus make it cleaner, if you want you can help me with the sailing activities or just relax. As the day ends you can enjoy Lisbon's beautiful sunset. This is a great activity for groups and families. I will be giving explanations and curious stories of Lisbon's history and of my voyages and sailing in general, and lets not forget the glass of port wine

OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT SURFING EXPERIENCE, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards and head down to the sand. This experience is for Small Groups (MAXIMUM 8 PARTICIPANTS per COACH) from total beginners surfers. For the first 15 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then the rest of the classe with an instructor in the ocean. Other things to note A container to change clothes (NOT IN THE STREET) and safe space to store your belongings (NOT IN A CAR). At the end of the lesson you have access to an outdoor shower. We are going to hike Pico mountain! Conquer the highest point of Portugal as well as the third highest point of the Mid Atlantic Ridge. Let the magnificent view on top of the mountain make you feel reborn. We will start our adventure at the first signs of day light to reach the top around midday. After a lunch in the crater with a view to make all of us silent, we will start the descent. During the hike I will give you more information about the geological formations, about the formation of the island and the vegetation we see. No matter what the view will be on top, if it is now a clear sky or clouds, I can assure you that you will experience one of the best moments in your life when you put your hands on the very top of the mountain.

* We received the "CLEAN&SAFE" distinction from the Portuguese Tourism Institute, for the prevention of COVID19.* I will pick you up from Lisbon city center and show you the beach with the best conditions for your level. You will get a wetsuit and a surfboard, and we will get suited up for the activity. From beginners to advanced, one day or intensive surf courses. I will help you all the way, showing and explaining everything you need to know. Learn surf techniques, beach analysis, safety procedures, and enjoy a clean energy activity, immersed in the ocean. We will start with the warm up, and then go straight to theory on the sand, but it won't be long until you hit the water. I will not give a speech on the sand, just short and quick tips If you are experienced in surfing, please let me know what type of board do you prefer, and what is your level, or else I will consider you a beginner. We will surf around 2h, depending on the conditions and your stamina. I remind you that this is a physical activity, and you must follow safety procedures Afterwards we will drive back to the city, and finish where we started so you can have a well deserved rest. With plenty of stops along the way, you'll have the opportunity to engage in conversation with attendees from all over the world and learn about the experiences of African people during the Portuguese transtlantic trade and colonial era. Not only will you get to know the african diaspora today, but you'll also have the chance to connect with people and learn about their realities. After the 4 hours walk, we end up with a delicious meal at an African restaurant, supporting black businesses in the community. Please be aware that Lisbon is hilly and slippery and there stairs to climb. Therefore there is a minimum of physical condition necessary. Also wear comfortable shoes. Why not to expect: - This experience is available for large groups. If you are expecting a small group, this is definitely not a tour for you. - The main topic is the Slave trade in Portugal and the world. If you are not comfortable with this subject this is definitely not an experience for you. This tour is suitable for kids and seniors as long as they are used to walking. As passioned for Lisbon, we want to show you the city as we see it, so you can get to know the secrets and customs of the Lisbon people and conquer our 7 Hills. More than a regular and touristic tour, you can learn the portuguese ways and even our language. A tuk tuk is an open air, very small and special vehicle that allow us to go through all the narrow streets of the old part of the town. We will go through them in an easy, very fun and adventurous way to go up the big hills of Lisbon. Throughout this trip, we'll explain you the history of the city and the places where we'll go, we'll do a lot of stops so you can visit inside the monuments and take some photos of the beautiful views. In this tour we'll get to know the old part of the Alfama District that includes the oldest monuments of the city near the Castle (Sé Cathedral, Saint Vicent Church, National Pantheon) awesome high viewpoints (Miradouro da Senhora do Monte and Portas do Sol) where you can see all the city and the 25th April Bridge from the top of the Hill, and stop in the little iconic streets from the XII Century. At the end we will finish in the downtown so you can explore Lisboa with new eyes. Other things to note We have 2 Tuks, the red (3 seats), the pink (4 seats) = in total 7 seats. I will meet my guests at the meeting point at the Marina, and present my self, my co-hosts and Crew. When all guests arrived at the meeting point, we go to the boat, where i provide a short security briefing about the tour and what includes, such as the wine and the snacks. We will then head down the Tagus River to begin our tour, departing from Lisbon’s Alcântara Marina and heading towards Belém. We are going to pass through some of the most iconic monuments and the crew is going to tell some histories about Portugal and the discoveries. You will after this be taken up river seeing a panoramic view of the city as you go under the bridge “Ponte 25 de Abril” and observe Cristo Rei in all its majesty overlooking Lisbon. Finish your tour sailing towards the sunset enjoying your wine while returning to the marina in Alcântara. During this tour, great conversation is always a “must have” and you can learn a bit about the nautical history of Lisbon and get suggestions on what to see and where to eat.
