Cook with me, a professional Chef in my historic house. There’s no better way to understand a culture than in the kitchen, where the history of the city and the people collide on the stove. You will become part of the history of my family’s house, which has belonged to my family for about 7 generations, while learning how to cook the two most representative recipes of the Quiteño culture. One of them has been passed from my late grandfather and the other one from my grandmother. All the ingredients will be local and organic in order to support local commerce. You will be making canelazo, a beverage with little alcohol, and empanadas de viento, a fried dough filled with cheese, both from scratch. We will also be doing a chocolate tasting while waiting from everything to be ready. You will eat and drink what you have prepared surrounded by a fantastic fountain in a colonial house.

We will ascend to the 13000 ft or 4000 mts and once there we will take a short walking to the: ✔️ SWING IN THE CLOUDS. Taking photos from this spot will be a highlight. ✔️ BASILICA. We are climbing to the towers with amazing views inside the biggest neogothic church in south America. ✔️ LUNCH. not include but we can choose a great local meal for about $12 each ✔️ HISTORICAL DISTRICT. We will start picking up all the participants from their location (in case that is farther from the city we will find a meeting point). Once all the group is complete we will start with this experience. After buying your tickets in Teleferico we'll go up to the High station and then hike to Rucu Pichincha summit. Depending on your physical condition we will do some stops in specific places to take a breath. In one hour and a half, we will arrive at the Bear`s Cave and will prepare for the last hour of hike (drink water and eat something that give us energy). in all this hike, I going to show you different kinds of plants and animals that give a magical view of this volcano. Once we arrive at the rock basement of the mountain we will take another breath to start to walking to the summit. Here you would take some pictures and enjoy the solitude of the mountain and nature. This hike could be at least 3 or more hours to the top. and two hours returning to the cable car station. When we return to the first station of the Cable Car, we would find our transportation ready to go home. Other things to consider - If you are traveling alone, please let me know before you confirm your booking. - On Raining Season our goal will be the Bear`s Cave for safety of all the participants. - Cable car fees must be paid by participants including fees of the guide and coafitrion.

We will departure in direction to north Andes to Imbabura Province home of some beautiful touristic and natural spots. We will do a first stop by MIRA LAGO perfect viewspot of Imbabura volcano and San Pablo lake , then we Will continue in direction to OTAVALO MARKET (60 to 90 minutes shopping time), then we will departure to COTACACHI CAYAPAS RESERVE home of CUICOCHA LAKE which is a lagoon with 2 islands inside a crater. After some short walking we will go to COTACACHI CITY leather city and place where We can have lunch and if you are not vegetarian or vegan we can taste CUY or GUINEA PIG. Finally after some more shoping we will return to Quito. NOTE: LUNCH IS NOT INCLUDED.
