Walking tour in the heart of Ottawa
I take a maximum of 4 people at a time on group tours (this limit does not apply to private tours).
We will spend 2h30 together walking through the heart of Ottawa (depending on our pace). We'll explore the city's origin through history and anecdotes. The small size of the groups allows me to show you more than regular large group tours which cover a lot less ground.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I can create a tour on demand if I'm available, or can change the time if you'd like it at a different time of the day (for example I can move a tour scheduled at noon to 12:30 as long as no one booked a spot yet). Not having a date in the calendar doesn't always mean i'm not available.
Also if I'm available I can usually start a tour within 1.5 to 2 hours of you messaging me.
Pricing:
Private tours for up to 2 people are available for $120 CAD during the week. Private tours for larger groups are $45 per adult, kids from 2 to 12 years old are $5.
As I said, I am happy to accommodate groups larger than 4 people, just let me know before booking to arrange.
I'm happy to apply discounts for families or larger groups, just message me BEFORE booking so I can set it for you to book.
Please take note of the weather. I can provides umbrellas, hats and gloves (in the winter) if you message me in advance.
Don't hesitate to message me for more information.

Canoe With Campfire and Lunch
Meeting time is flexible. Please let me know what works for you.
Canoeing is a relaxing and peaceful activity which many enjoy. You will meet me and will drive yourself in your own vehicle to the starting point of your excursion. Once we arrive at out starting point outside Algonquin Park, I will show you how to canoe (if need be) and what to do. After this we will set out to the quiet beautiful Bay where not many venture to.
will start at an access point outside the park and canoe into this beautiful, remote bay. This includes cliffs, "marshy" type water, and stunning scenery. This experience is very peaceful and you will beable to connect with yourself. This area is remote, so not to many people come into this area. There is wildlife: fish jumping, birds, loons, beavers and perhaps a moose along the shoreline. Usually this area is calm for the most part.
For the first part of the excursion we will canoe into the bay and enjoy the peacefulness and remoteness. The second part of the trip we will stop at a wooded point and cook lunch over a open fire.
After we eat we will continue canoeing back to the start.
If there is a fireban on I will not be able to cook over the fire. I can provide a packed lunch or we can just paddle the entire time and enjoy.
Morning or evening is the best time for this event.
A Day of Rock Climbing Near Montreal
This climbing experience is offered by La Liberté Nord-Sud, a climbing school that operates in Montreal and the Laurentians. I will be your instructor!
Weather you've never rock climbed before or have some experience and want to climb outside during your stay in Montreal, this experience is for you!
You don't need to be an expert climber to book this experience, there are routes for everyone; from 5.5 (3) to 5.13 (8a). Even if you've only climbed in a gym, you'll have fun climbing outside for the first time in a safe and professional environment. Bring your rock climbing shoes if you have some but if not, I'll have a pair to lend you, along with all the necessary gear.
Depending on your level of experience, we can either stick to top roping or we can also do sport climbing (lead) as most routes are bolted.
The crag is about 40 minutes away from downtown Mtl. We'll meet in the parking lot and then there is a short 10-min hike to get to the rock. There's about 80 routes to choose from. I'll suggest the best routes for you.
I'll take care of the anchors and I'll belay you.
The activity may be cancelled if it’s raining too much. But let’s think positive, it’ll be nice and sunny :)

Mysterious Stone Ruins of West Quebec
Did you know that the history of peopling of North America may be older and more complicated than previously thought? New research on stone cairns throughout the northeast ponders these questions. We believe the answers to these questions may be found right here in Western Quebec.
We will start this beautiful hiking tour of the ancients with the Stone construct builders. There are thousands of these cairns and walls throughout New England but very few in Canada. You will see 11 stone constructs arranged in a half mile loop at the top of the only mountain with a clear view to the stars!
I am happy to share the knowledge i have gained of years researching these structures and am very open to all of your questions. If you would like to do some preparing for the experience look for David Suzuki's episode of The Nature of Things called 'Walking With Ancients' or the episode called 'Ice Bridge'.
The tour will then continue to the next small mountain where we will visit the quartz mound, the stunning and extremely strange feature 40 foot mound may be natural.... or may be a human made mound.
But what is the real story? Archeologists have come to investigate and have no answer. Geologists are equally perplexed. What will your theory be?
Fully guided fishing adventure on peaceful scenic river
We will meet at a secret fishing spot (local river or lake within 30 minutes drive of Kanata, Ontario) and I will host a fully guided four hour motor boat fishing experience. Fishing gear, life jacket, bait and all other required fishing and safety equipment are provided. The activity starts with a basic water safety tutorial and fishing techniques lesson. Once the guests are comfortable with the basic mechanics of casting and trolling, we then start fishing targeting aggressive northern pike, acrobatic bass, tasty walleye and many other fun sports fish species.
The exact species of fish we target and techniques we use will depend on the current fishing regulations as well as preference of the guest. Guests are welcome to keep any legal fish caught and enjoy a nice fresh fish meal at home. This activity is ideal for families and kids as we will be fishing on calm waters and I love to teach kids to fish and see the excitement on their faces when they hook and land a fish all by themselves.
