Great for individuals, families, and groups of any size. Fun corporate team-building! Our pottery "experiences" are taught by local ceramic artists who volunteer their time. Paseo Pottery has joined the rank of a growing number of businesses embracing a radical form of conscious capitalism: cover costs, then donate rest to improve society. We start each pottery class by doling out drinks (we’ve got a variety of beverages to choose from, and you’re welcome to BYOB as well). Then we take students on a tour of our studio where over a dozen Santa Fe ceramic artists come to create. Paseo Pottery has been part of the local art scene for three decades. All of our classes are one-time, two-hour classes that prioritize the experience of touching, forming, and manipulating clay into expressions of art. The classes are experience-based, meaning that at the end of each session students recycle their work back into the clay mound. Students do not, however, walk away empty handed as they receive a $15 credit to chose a piece of pottery from the gallery, which is full of pottery handcrafted by local Santa Fe artists.

Our exploration of the Old Town Plaza will begin with coffee, tea and biscochitos on the balcony of our home, looking out over the original town square and historic San Felipe Church. We will overlook history as well, and gaze back from the Tiwa people on who’s land Old Town was built, to life on the plaza during the Spanish, Mexican and American colonial periods. Next we will undertake a walking tour of the plaza with a focus on the old adobe architecture and the stories associated with the buildings and smaller placitas that make up Old Town, using historical photos and visuals to support the information. This stroll will include secrets and lore unknown even to most Albuquerque residents, interaction with some of the "old timers" that live and work here, and pointers what to see and do and where to eat, tailored to the needs and interests of each group. Old Town is a valuable community resource and there are frequent impromptu happenings- quinceaneras, vintage car parades, etc. The tour will embrace these spontaneous events as they occur making the visit to Old Town even more vibrant and personal. How often do you get to dabble in an art form that began in the 600's AD? Our experience invites participants into century's-old techniques to create glass suncatcher ornaments. You'll get to choose a design to create, select from dozens of types of art glass, then learn how to break, shape, and utilize techniques developed by Tiffany and others to bind the glass pieces together into a finished suncatcher ornament to bring home with you. (And yes, you can take it on a plane.) Absolute novices welcome!

Welcome to our home and studios. We'll greet you at the door to our Northern New Mexico Territorial-style homestead with our dogs barking excitedly. Inside diamond plaster walls, soaring ceilings with vigas, and a solid wood counter set with coffee or tea begin our relaxed chat about art, architecture, music, marriage, and New Mexico. Warren's art graces our walls and he'll share his unique perspective as an artist, gallery owner, and President of the Santa Fe Gallery Association. I'll share stories from my life as a singer, wearable art designer, and natural ambassador to Santa Fe and Las Vegas. Upstairs we'll tour Warren's studio, view works in process, take in the massive views of the mesa and bask in the glorious Northern New Mexico light that has inspired generations of artists. If we're lucky, Hummingbirds may grace our day. Finally, we'll enjoy a light homemade meal, sourcing local ingredients and completing the sensory experience that is the alchemy of art, artists, food and the boundless beauty nature provides. Our master potter and studio potters will demonstrate the magic of throwing a basic form using the pottery wheel. Working with clay is a fun experience. You’ll learn the basics of pottery including tools , glazes, and stages of clay. Participant will get an in-depth lesson on the basics of using the pottery wheel. Then it will be your turn to get your hands in clay and practice your new skills. Working on the Schedule: 1 hour of instruction 1.15 Solo practice 15 min to clean up wheel, working area and and tools. Please remember to wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery Production space tour and tasting of our hand crafted beers, spirits and cocktails. Participants are given a tour of our production space where a guide will explain how we make our unique beers and spirits. From base ingredients to the brew house and fermenters to distillation, aging and packaging. After the tour, guests are treated to a flight of beers or spirits in our tasting room.

Before beginning the sound healing session, we will go through a guided meditation exercise laying down on your back. Following the guided meditation, I will begin the sound healing experience which will last about 45 minutes. You will remain on your back with your head towards the singing bowls. After completion, you will remain in shavasana for 5 minutes and will have the opportunity to share your experience and ask questions. The session will end by having a personal midfulness card pulled for you as a message to carry out your week.
