Meet in Kihei at KALAMA BEACH PARK, approximate address is 1900 South Kihei Road. We are right across from the red 76 Gas station, in Kalama ParkCheck in at our SURF CLUB MAUI van where you will be greeted by your friendly surf coach. THE MINIMUM AGE TO JOIN OUR GROUP CLASSES IS 11 YEARS OLD. Our surf class size is up to 6 surfers per instructors. Send us a message if you would like a private class or have kids under 11 and we can try to make arrangements for your class. All equipment is provided (surfboards, reef shoes, lycra surf shirts and yoga pants for the ladies if requested). We begin with a land lesson to review all the steps of surfing at the best surf beach on the south shore. Once you have mastered the skills on land, we will head to the ocean where you will catch an endless supply of waves. Connect with your surf coach as he will answer any surf or island questions you may have. After 2 hours we exit the ocean where there are fresh water showers. No need for any previous experience or certifications. This is a fully regulated and insured PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course safe for all ages (10+) and skill levels. You should be in good heath for Scuba diving and we do require a waiver upon meeting to ensure your safety. If a guest has any significant medical issues we reserve the right to cancel without refund upon meeting. If you have any medical issues that might be an issue, please let us know ahead of time. We will meet at our dive location and after the necessary training and practice in shallow water we will make our way to the reef, submerge safely in 6-7ft of water. Once everyone is comfortable and ready to go we will start our journey exploring the reef and wildlife. Our maximum depth is typically 25ft. When our air supply dictates we turn around and head back to shore, rinse off and have fun talking about all the cool critters we saw. There is a 5 to 10 minute introduction of the goats and "goat etiquette (goat awareness / behavior)". Then 30 to 40 minutes of yoga class / therapy and the rest of the time is goat therapy / playtime. Our team of instructors are all certified lifeguards who have extensive experience working with people of all ages and skill levels. At first, you'll be in the shallower waters, where you'll receive comprehensive instruction on the basics of snorkeling, such as how to use masks and fins, and you'll need to wear a life jacket. This Is a really fun and easy class for anyone!!! You dont need to be artistic to make something amazing on the potter’s wheel. The throwing explanation and demonstrations will walk you through the process step by step in 3 phases: 1. Centering-getting the clay centered 2. Opening -forming the bottom 3. Pulling-making the walls of the vessel After walking through the first pot you will have time to play and practice more on your own. There is plenty of time for practicing and people make on average between 1-3 pots. The design of this class is to feel the almost magical experience of turning spinning clay into something functional like a cup or bowl. After your class I can finish, glaze, and fire the pots you choose to keep for a small shipping and firing fee. I can ship domestic or international depending on where you live. So no matter where you are from you can still get your hand made creations delivered.

Have you ever night snorkeled under the Maui stars? Sounds scary right? Its Not. Come join us for a night snorkel where a plethora of unique marine life comes to life during the night hours. Safety always being our top priority, we will only go in small groups of 6 or less and each snorkeler will be fully fitted with high end dive lights, life preserver, high end masks, light beaker, and all other equipment needed for this. Other than the sun being down what makes this experience so special is the array of totally unique marine life that comes out to play after sunset, including lobsters, octopus, and night time critters that love to say hi. The snorkel is extremely safe for ages 16+. Please note, you must be able to swim in order to do this activity! The tour consists of different warm hue lights our guide will adjust during the tour to attract turtles, rays, and more. Again, each of you will have a dive light, a red colored beaker attached to you for further safety precautions, and our guide will supply one “main light” consisting of a 4000 lumen multi colored neon light to light up a 10 foot radius around the group, this red hue will attract turtles that swim alongside our small group. Think small group, personalized, hands on adventure as friends! Snorkeling at night is safe and incredibly exciting.
