Welcome to a flight lesson for beginners in a training biplane from WWII. We currently operate out of historic Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ. In this experience you will be exposed to flying in open cockpit biplane (Stearman) over the beautiful mountains, northeast of Mesa. The Stearman was used as a primary training airplane for most of the pilots during WWII, so you will be learning in an authentic piece of history. There are only 2 seats in the plane, one for you and one for me. We'll start with a pre-flight inspection followed by an explanation of the radios and controls. We can fly smooth and level, or we can add in some more energetic maneuvers for those that desire a more thrilling experience. You will be invited to take the controls as part of the lesson. From engine start to return will take approximately 30 minutes, although the entire experience lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes. This is a unique experience where you will be exposed to the same type of training that the "Greatest Generation" did during World War II. Flying and training in the Stearman is like traveling back in time nearly 80 years. This experience would certainly make a most memorable gift for birthdays, weddings, holidays, anniversaries, graduations, or "just because". It's also a great gift for the pilot who has everything. A Hold Harmless agreement will need to be signed before flying.

We want to share the unconditional love of all our 4-legged friends! They provide us with so much happiness and joy and we love to share the love! The experience and activities with Happy Hooves on the farm will vary depending on the time of day. VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ. If there are any special accommodations that are needed, please reach out to the host privately to 1) make sure we can accomodate and 2)plan in advance to provide the best environment possible! Note: If the times offered for the experience do not work for your schedule, please send the host a private message as to what day and time you are requesting. We will do our best to accomodate. Guests can be a part of brushing, grooming, braiding (if you wish!), and some relaxation with the herd! You will then have time if you wish to walk some of the furry friends here at the farm! Each guest MUST wear close toed shoes (tennis shoes or boots would work just fine)! For safety reasons, it is not recommended for any animals to attend this experience. A thorough tutorial will take place to familiarize beginners with the requirements and set expectations. Everything needed to safely navigate our waterways will be provided as well as helpful hands along the way as needed. Having spent many years traveling this stretch of water we will be able to share facts regarding the local wildlife and landscape. You will enjoy a relaxing controlled paddling float along the calm lazy river. Once the trip has concluded a rideshare will be provided to return guests to their vehicles. Other things to note This experience has a modular aspect. Once you book the date we will be in close contact to discuss any special needs or requests you may have. If you have concerns regarding your skill level in relation to other guests in attendance or wish to alter the duration of the experience please consider the "Private Group" booking option to enjoy a more private personalized experience (For a few extra bucks you dont have to worry about the opinions of strangers!)

Then we will head to Flagstaff traveling on one of the most scenic highways in U.S , 89A. We will see the Oak Creek Canyon Vista, a gorgeous scenic viewpoint. We will stop by a Native American Crafts Market run by local Native Americans, & then we will head out to view one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon! We will arrive at the Grand Canyon in the afternoon to take in this magnificent & breathtaking sight, & hike into the Canyon if you wish (if no snow or ice)! You will enjoy the best sunset in the world, an Arizona sunset, on our drive back to Phoenix! Our timing is perfect, not rushed. Let's explore South Mountain Preserve and discover Hidden Valley. We'll hike about 2-3 hours, travel a total of 3.8 miles, and gain 1,000 feet of elevation to discover a magical spot in the middle of the mountain. Our adventure begins with a climb but offers amazing views right away. As we continue to gain elevation we’ll see local landmarks like Four Peaks, Camelback Mountain, Piestewa Peak, and Downtown Phoenix. Surrounded by fantastic rock formations as we climb even higher, we’ll stop to learn about the Sonoran Desert’s unique geological history, vegetation, and wildlife. We'll see Saguaros, wild flowers, Barrel and Prickly Pear cacti. We may even spot a family of Quails, a Zebra Tailed Lizard, or Jack Rabbits running across the trail. After we’ve reached our highest elevation we’ll squeeze through Fat Man’s Pass (a narrow pass through a giant boulder created by a powerful wash) and descend into Hidden Valley. Here we will be completely secluded from city views and surrounded by birds, butterflies, and fresh herbal air. We’ll take a moment here to enjoy in the beauty of the desert. We'll stop again to examine ancient petro glyph sites created by the Hohokom, sometime between 350 - 1500 AD. Next, we’ll rock scramble a bit before we hike to a natural rock tunnel. Finally, we’ll enjoy more views of the valley on the way down the mountain. Other things to note Beginner hikers can enjoy this hike, but should participate in some regular physical activity. We will hike 3.8 miles with 1000ft elevation gain in 3 hours. Guests with heart conditions or joint issues should not participate.

Ever wanted to shoot a bow and arrow and live your Katniss/Robinhood fantasy?! As a registered Level 4 USA Archery Coach and Nationally ranked competitive archer I will guide you through a fun filled archery experience. Upon arrival at the Paseo Vista Archery range I will have all the equipment prepared for our session (targets, bows, arrows, safety equipment). After a quick safety briefing, we will go over basic shooting form. You will then be fitted to a bow and begin shooting! Throughout your shooting experience I will give pointers and help answer any questions regarding the wonderful sport of archery. Regardless if this is just a singular fun day activity or something you are considering going competitive in, I look forward to hosting you in this exciting experience!

We will also visit one of the sacred Antelope Canyons that can only be entered with Navajo guides by tribal and federal law. The beauty in these canyons was captured by the most expensive photograph ever sold for $6.5 million dollars. Come experience these hidden treasures on Navajo Land with a true Arizonan who can show you all the local spots and arrange everything for you! As we tune into our breath, I will guide you through a series of gentle asanas, helping you unwind and release any tension held within your body and mind. Our yoga session is 1 hour with some time in the beginning and end for connecting. We will have time to capture the memories with stunning photos against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset before parting ways. Photoshoot with the #1 Arizona photographer on Airbnb! A full-time award winning portrait and wedding photographer. What we will do: First we will meet at the location! I pay for the entry fee of every guest on the reservation! We will walk around to all the best places at the location to take beautiful pictures! Don't worry if you dont know how to pose or if this is your first ever photoshoot! I specialize in posing all body types and I will direct you or you and your group with poses that will lead to all the perfect pictures that make you look your best! After we end the shoot you are free to roam around the garden and take in the beautiful scenery! If you are hungry I can show you the best place to grab a bite afterwards and we will end the session after an hour or until we get the pictures you love! I will provide you with 5 professionally edited pictures per person! (if you’d like more feel free to mention that to me and I’ll let you know about other options)! The photos will be delivered in a beautiful online gallery where you can choose your favorites and even purchase more if you so choose! Other things to note: Bring water, its hot, especially in the summer. We will be walking so if you plan to wear heels, also bring a pair of shoes you can walk in comfortably!

You’ll start by getting a quick 5 minute history lesson on the country Nigeria and it’s cuisine. Quickly after, we move into the ingredients and spices that makes our choice so unique. Then, we prepare the dish together as you listen to soulful Afro beats by some of Nigeria’s top artists. After the dish is prepared, we sit and dine and drink as questions are encouraged.

This experience was created to help people visiting Arizona for the first time to learn a little more about the people and places of Arizona before venturing on. We'll meet at a lightly traveled trailhead in North Phoenix and take a few minutes to get acquainted. Next, we'll begin our journey on a wide, gently sloped trail with spectacular views of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. We can stay on nice, easy trail, or hike up to a hilltop for a better look at the Valley of the Sun. It’s your choice. Along the way, feel free to snap all the pictures as you want as I teach you some cool stuff about Arizona geography, landscape and culture. I’m an open book: ask me anything you’d like. This is your opportunity to learn more about the Phoenix and Arizona lifestyle from a local. About an hour later you’ll be on your way to your next stop with a better appreciation for the Grand Canyon State.

Guests will arrive at a private horse ranch in beautiful Cave Creek, AZ surrounded by 360 mountian views. You will first get a tour of the ranch and meet 4 miniature pigs, 2 BABY PIGS, 2 young burros (donkeys), and 6 rescue horses including a wild mustang (@mila_the_mustang), an off-the-track thoroughbred and a warmblood gelding. You will be able to pet and hang out with all of the animals and ask as many questions as you like while feeding them their favorite treats and grooming them. Check us out for daily updates of the herd @margueritaranch Guests will be walking on unpaved and sandy paths and should not be wearing flip flops or open-toed shoes. You will have plenty of time to love on the animals and meet your new best friend! Bring your cameras! Marguerita Ranch features a home that provides as natural as environment as possible for the animals. Each horse is free-fed hay throughout the day to simulate natural grazing. The horses & donkeys live together in a herd and are able to roam about the paddock together. This is a private ranch and is not open to the public.

Join us for a Kpop dance workshop! We'll begin with a 5-minute warm-up, followed by learning the choreography and dancing to the music. Optional filming and photo shooting at the end are also included and you can watch them on the next day posted on our FB group, “Arizona Kpop Dance Workshop” and IG, “@akdc_2020”. The workshop takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 8-9pm. We normally go through different songs and artists featured every two weeks. Each song will be covered in a total of 4 classes. Choreography learning on the first week and choreography learning + formation on the second week. Please keep in mind that Kpop dance isn’t easy and 1 hour workshop might not be enough time to master today’s choreography for some people. After 4 classes in two weeks, we usually make a tutorial video for the song and post on YouTube as well as on TikTok (@rinaohkuma @akdc_2020). Please feel free to use them to master the dance if you would like to! You can also join our FB group, “Arizona Kpop Dance Workshop” to participate or relearn the dance moves for free as we always go on the live stream during the class.
