You’ll discover the beautiful neighbourhood of Barranco during this 4-hour tour. Taken along through a variety of restaurants and small businesses you’ll try some of the most traditional and classical local specialties. During the tour, you will taste 15 flavours of fruits, drinks, and dishes and also meet small entrepreneurs. You’ll learn about their story while enjoying the best Peruvian dishes. We will make sure you get immersed in Peruvian history and culture, as every bite has a story to tell. Ceviche, lomo saltado and pisco sour will be prepared in front of you. We are going to pick you up from your accommodation or meeting point and with our expert local guide, we'll take you to a fascinating walking tour around our historical center. We will visit the highlights of the Historic Center of Lima such as the San Martin Square, Plaza de Armas, Jiron de la Union (main pedestrian street), Government palace (panoramic view), Cathedral (panoramic view), Pasaje Santa Rosa, Convent of Santo Domingo (panoramic view), cherry of the cake is to visit inside the " Convent of San Francisco and its awesome catacombs"! Our historical center is considered a World Heritage Site protected by Unesco since 1991 because of all the colonial buildings the city has. El ceviche es un plato de muchos ingredientes con diferentes métodos de preparación así que siempre habrá en qué ayudar, todo esto acompañado de pisco sour que estaré preparando contigo en reiteradas ocasiones para tener antes, durante y después de comer, también estarán disponibles otras bebidas. Comeremos juntos y todo esto estará acompañado de música criolla o salsa que le va muy bien como fondo a la cocina y a las conversaciones. As a true born-and-raised artist, I can say that's true. My proposal for our night, it's to enjoy Barranco's nightlife as if we were those artists, using storytelling along with cultural exchange as the pillars of our night. The venues for that would be three different bars, which will allow us to discover the different facets that we can find in Barranco. First, we would meet on the Plaza Central of Barranco, and from there we would visit our first bar, which is my all-time favorite, not only it's the oldest of them all, but also has been the bar of choice for many generations of artists, here the story of our night would begin. Next, our story could go either to a very tropical and fun venue or to a converted old house with a fancy a colorful setting, I would choose based on our conversation and shared interests. Finally, I would take you to a bar that's an extension of my own home, as we want to end the night as friends, our last bar is not only cool with a wide variety of signature cocktails, delicious food, and the chance to dance the night away. Visit the most iconic monuments in Lima including the Catacombs of San Francisco Church. Lima Walking Tour will make you travel into the past of our city to understand the country in 2.5 hours. We will start our walking tour in the main square, discuss all episodes between the Incas and the conquerors.
