Fruit Tour at the sweetest Market on Earth
We'll meet at the "sweetest market on earth" Paloquemao Market. From there we'll start tasting different fruits, all while tracing their indigenous and colonial origins. Depending on which fruits are in season, we will taste around 25 different varieties. In addition, we will walk the market’s venues which includes the outdoor floral area. Finally, there will be a fruit juice tasting that goes along with a traditional snack, the arepa. The ideal geographic position that Colombia occupies due to its proximity to the equator and with the Andes stretching across the country, creates the perfect conditions for fruits to develop unique flavors.
Discovering Colombian Regional Cuisine
First of all, an small introduction about ourselfs, our culture and explain all about the 5 different regions of Colombia. Then we go to try the most authentic dish of the Capital, Ajiaco. Then we got a surprise from the Orinoquia region! After that, the next restaurant is specialized in pacific coast food and for sure we cant forget our Caribbean region. Next step is tamal from the south of Colombia, one of the most representative ones. If you are still hungry, not worries, we will have more restaurants to visit! 7 in total. This is a real and deep gastronomical experience where we eat and learn. Remember, ALL THE FOOD IS INCLUDED, you dont have to pay extra money! This is a FLEXIBLE experience, restaurants may change (we have more options in case some of our friend restaurants are closed or people want to try other exotic plates) Vegeterians and vegans are more than welcome!

We are going to all restaurants by walking. All of it are located in a walkable distance in one of the most beautiful districts in Bogota, la Candelaria.
Hiking to the top of Monserrate´s hill
One of the highlights of Bogota is Monserrate Sanctuary, located in a top of a mountain at 3.150 mts above the sea level. Many people take the easy option to go by cable car or funicular because they are afraid about safety or the altitude. Thats why i want to offer a real experience as we locals do. We will hike 1.800 stairs, 2.5 kilometers to get to the top of the hill. Monserrate church has a real meaning for catholics, the suffering of Jesus in way of the cross. Not worries! we are not going to suffer, we are going to breathe pure air walk through the nature and learn about the deep Colombian culture. This a medium level hike for people whom like adventure and dont want to take the easy option. Ive been hiking thi hill since i was a kid, will be a pleasure to take you with me! When we reach the top we will grab a coca tea and enjoy a traditional Tamal from the suoth of Colombia to recover our energy! Ont the way to the church we will observe more tha 50 species of birds and all the high andean forest ecosystem. This a safe walk! forget the stereotypes!

Im flexible with time. Also if want another urban hike in the city jus ask me, i got other cool options as La Aguadora, El verjon and Quebrada la Vieja

We will meet in our cafeteria (Experience Center), in one of the most emblematic sectors of Bogotá, I will make a brief introduction in which I will tell you my story as a producer and why Colombian coffee is considered one of the best in the world, we will a coffee tasting which is a fun dynamic in which through the senses you will learn to differentiate a good coffee from a not so good one in its fragrance, aroma, flavor and texture, later, you will taste three specialty coffees prepared in four different methods (Chemex, Aeropress, Japanese siphon and espresso machine), and you will discover some tricks and techniques to make your coffee at home perfect.

Emeralds are part of the selected group of precious stones and the 60% of them in the world are originally from Colombia. Become part of the Emerald legend, by creating a ring with your own hands. This tour starts by having an introduction about the importance of emeralds for precolonial and colonial culture. We will go through the emerald and jewelry district to learn about the history of the precious metals and stones and its influence in Colombian culture. We will take a look at the emerald market to see the different minerals and qualities. Then we will work on your new ring, where you will decide all! the design, the stone and material, by the personal advisory of a orfebre (jewelry master) who teaches you how to do every single step.

Savannah of Bogota includes lakes, forests, mountains that you see once you leave the city of Bogota.
We have lunch in typical Colombian food restaurants. It is recommended to bring Colombian money in cash because in some places credit cards are not accepted. Entrance fees and food are not included.
I run this tour with a maximum of 3 people in a private car. Tour lasts 12 hours approximately.
On Mondays the Guatavita Lake is closed, therefore it is replaced by the visit to "la Casa Loca" (upside-down house)
Nightlife experience in Bogota
Did you know Bogotá has the best nightlife in Latin America? Enjoy Bogotás nightlife with a Pub Crawl in the best party district of Bogotá, Zona Rosa, meeting people from all over the world.
I'll be waiting for you at the meeting point where we'll have a craft beer tasting, and then you’ll get to choose your favorite beer to have a full glass of it. If you’re not a beer lover, no worries, you can have a shot of aguardiente, Colombia's national liquor. After this, we'll visit another bar in Zona T with a great ambiance, where we'll have cocktails with local liquors. We'll finish the pub crawl at a nightclub and keep the party going local style.
We'll visit two great bars in Bogotá, enjoying a drink at each one of them and finishing at one of the coolest clubs in town meeting people from all over the world.
Other things to note
At the club they have a dress code, so please don't wear shorts, flip flops or any sportswear as sweatpants or hoodies. Jeans, and a shirt is a perfect outfit. Tennis shoes are ok.

Cable car to El Paraiso, the city slum
If you want to discover the deep reality of the colombian capital you should join me in this experience trying to see and understand the configuration of the colombian society, we will not see colonial architecture, museums or fancy streets, we will go through the south neighborhoods of Bogota by using one of the most innovative transportation system in the world, Tansmilenio and Transmi Cable (Cable car). Bogota has different faces and this a really interesting one you dont want to miss. First of all, we take the Transmilenio (BRT System) direction to Tunal Station and reach the Cable Care used by 700.000 locals everyday as their main transportation system. We will go to the last station Paraiso, and walk around in a deteriorated urban district by the violence and poorness in the past, trying to improve its habitants and surroundings through the education, urban renovation, sports and art equipments. After visiting Paraiso district, seeing and spectacular view of Bogota and having a look to te different Graffiti scene, we will eat delicious traditional local food.
By doing this tour, part of the money is to support the graffiti colective in the neighborhood!

Dont worry about safety, we will not take any risk and you will follow my indications. Andrea my friend, is a recognized leader in the neighborhood and she will be with us the entire time
Walking Tour Oldtown La Candelaria
We will walk around Candelaria district, the oldest and most important neighborhood in Bogotá. We will talk about history, geography, currrent social and political situation in Colombia. We get involved with our culture by drinking chicha! The most traditional fermented drink in the city, part of our indigeneous heritage. Also we will try some local snacks made with corn and in the end of the tour we will play the gunpowder game, better known as Tejo, a funny drinking game played in the prehispanic times.
This tour give you an entire idea about the Colombia's capital context. You will never get bored due we talk about different topics, interact with locals, visit the most important spots in the city and get the max of the artistic and historical value of all the streets and alleys we walk trough.

Tour en Bicicleta económico
Nuestro tour dura entre 4 a 5 horas e incluye parte del centro histórico y de las localidades Santa Fe, Teusaquillo y Los Mártires. Durante el tour vemos arte urbano, visitamos el Parque Nacional, una tostadora de café, probamos frutas en un mercado tradicional, pasamos por el Museo Nacional y la Plaza de Toros, donde a veces entramos.
Recorremos alrededor de 13 kilómetros. La ruta es mayormente plana. Es un tour relajado, con varias paradas para exponer temas históricos, urbanísticos, culturales y políticos. Al finalizar el tour, incluimos el juego nacional de Colombia Tejo, es una sorpresa para todos. Todos nuestros guías hablan inglés, y contamos con varios que hablan francés, portugués, alemán y español en caso de ser requerido para tours privados.
Nuestras bicis tienen marco de aluminio, suspensión delantera, 18 a 21 cambios y repuestos Shimano. En tours de más de 7 personas contamos con un mecánico que asiste durante la ruta.

Soak in secret hot springs w/lunch, coffee & drinks
Soak in a magical hot spring oasis that transports you to the feeling of being in the Amazon, but only 1.5 hours from Bogotá. You’ll get to spend the day soaking in natural hot springs, take fabulous photos, explore the tropical fauna, lily pond, and disconnect from everything.
The experience includes exclusive access to a property not open to the public, round trip transportation (bus used when less than 4 people w/option for private), towels, a fruit platter with coffee, lunch, and a welcome drink.
Natural hot springs are often praised for their health benefits such as blood circulation, stress reduction, pain relief, and improvement of skin problems.
We’ll meet in Bogotá at 8 am and then arrive at the property at 9:45 am to have a coffee and you’ll be given a tour of the beautiful grounds.
We’ll bring down some tropical fruit to snack on as well as a welcome drink. You'll have around 3-hours to enjoy the hot springs while lunch is being prepared.
Lunch is served at 1 pm and our caretaker will cook you an authentic Colombian meal over a wood-burning stove. You can expect vegan ajiaco served with rice and avocado. Please let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions and we can accommodate you!
After lunch, we will leave at 2 pm to beat the horrible city traffic and be back in Bogota around 4 pm.

Bogotá visiting - Monserrate, City tour, Food tour & Museums
¡Explore all of Bogota's downtown and history in one day!
We will explore the historical center of Bogotá and discuss its social and political history as a capital city. We will learn about Bogotazo and the pre-Colombian ancient cultures, as well as gastronomy and nature unique to Colombia. We will try dishes from many regions of the country.
About the Itinerary:
- Monserrate: We start the experience visiting the most beautifull vew of Bogotá the mount of monserrate; we will get up by the cable car or the funicular and have a traditional snack up there and then get down by the same way and keep discovering the wonderfull city.
- Candelaria: We visit Local Food places at the history centre and try traditional dishes of all Colombian cuisine.
- Plaza Del Chorro Del Quevedo: we will pass by the olddest street of Bogotá and discover together the chicha and the magical spots full of history.
- Plaza de Bolivar de Bogotá.
- Gold Museum (Museo del Oro) or Museo Botero del Banco de la Republica. (The Gold Museum is closed on Mondays).

Saturday Night Bar Crawl in Bogotá
Hi! We are a group of local friends that host bar crawls in Bogotá every Friday & Saturday night. We wanted to give foreigners and tourists a unique "locals' experience", so we started these bar crawls.
Each of our bar crawls consists of 3 bars and 1 club, all located in the Chapinero neighborhood in Bogotá. Chapinero is one of the most popular nightlife areas, especially among university students and young adults, in Bogotá. We will meet for 2 hours at the first bar at 7:30 pm to congregate and converse, and then we will proceed to the next 2 bars every hour, finally finishing off at the club by 12:30 am. Normally, locals also come on our crawls, so you will have the opportunity to connect with some Colombians and practice your Spanish!

Horseback Riding in Colombia’s Andes
Breathe fresh mountain air and feel the energy of Colombian horses on this one-of-a-kind day.
We’ll meet in Bogotá and go to a mountain home in El Imperio to enjoy the beautiful landscape, traditional food, and amazing views. We’ll ride horseback along the Andes and take in the gorgeous scenery, native forests, and great sight of Lake El Sisga.
For lunch, we’ll eat authentic dishes cooked in a wood stove and then play a game of Tejo before we head back to Bogotá. Along the way, you can take it easy and commune with nature as you bond with your Colombian steed.

This activity takes a whole day, and you'll return to Bogotá around 6:40 pm. It is a must if you really want to experience Colombia's soul.
