I will be your guide around historic Charleston Waterfront Park and surrounding areas. You will go through beautiful narrow cobble stone streets and secret locations tucked in throughout the heart of the city. It has taken years of networking through the city to gain access to some of the places we will visit. You will not see these places in any brochure so be sure to reserve your spot if you want to see these elusive places off the beaten path. Come see the charm that is over flowing in this historically rich town. Every photographer, aged ten and over, can come to this experience. Bring any camera, including a camera phone. In our photo walk, I will show you interesting perspectives and angles to capture picture perfect images. As a long time photography instructor I can assist with camera settings. If you are using a camera phone I can offer some tips for those too. As an added bonus I will be photographing you through your experience and will share those images with you by airdrop or email link. If you choose to tip it is greatly appreciated. 100% of those proceeds this year goes toward a match fund for my child’s first car. We will enjoy a cruise through the salt marshes of one of Charleston’s most scenic rivers. We will visit Morris Island, an uninhabited barrier island. You will have a breathtaking view of the famous Morris Island Lighthouse. If you wish, you may take a leisurely stroll on the beach to search for sea shells and sharks teeth. We'll depart from Folly River Boat Landing and enjoy a scenic boat ride through the salt marsh creeks of Folly Island to historic Morris Island. Once on Morris Island, you’ll have the opportunity to walk the beach in search of shells, shark teeth, and other fossils. From Morris Island you will also enjoy breathtaking up-close views of the historic Morris Island lighthouse. During your journey to and from the island, you will enjoy numerous sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins and other saltwater wildlife. Sail Charleston Harbor and photography tour will circle Charleston Harbor as you relax on the bow, amidships or cockpit and take it all in while our onboard professional photographer captures (with your permission and at no extra cost) this experience for you. We will sail along Charleston Peninsula, up the Ashley River, see the sunset off the Battery then head up to and under the Ravanel Bridge as the last of the day’s light fades behind the glow of the bridge and the city of Charleston. The Badass Broads tour is a two hour walk through the history of CHS with a special emphasis on eight of our badass women. We will visit a spot, discuss the historical importance of that spot, and connect it to one of the women from Charleston's history. You can't tell the story of the women without the history and you shouldn't tell the history without the story of the women.
