Secret Doors Museum Tour
From spies to secret passageways put your super sleuth skills to the test as you search for over 80 secret doors and explore our themed rooms. We would never give you a map - this would ruin the surprise of finding a secret door but you will have a Q & A with one of our docents before you start your journey. Come Sail With Us!
We're vaccinated for your safety and peace of mind!
When you book our sailing experience, your payment goes to fund our non-profit outreach programs.
Join our group experience as we sail around Baltimore Harbor and the Patapsco river (can be booked as a private experience as well). Do as much, or as little as you like. Take the helm, hoist and trim the sails, tack, jibe, or just sit back and enjoy the ride. We'll leave from Tindeco Wharf and sail out into the harbor. From there, we decide to sail toward the inner harbor or out past Fort McHenry, into the Patapsco river toward the Key bridge.
This is a great opportunity to get more sailing time and develop your sailing skills under the watchful eye of a US Sailing Master Instructor Trainer. Never sailed before? No problem, during our time we'll teach you as much as you want.
Just get away from it all on a relaxing sail? That not a problem either. Bring snacks and beverages to enjoy and just take in the breeze and enjoy the sights and sounds of sailing.
Other things to note
We're sailing on the 36' sailboat so it's not likely you'll get wet (unless it is raining). We will sail in light rain, but not in thunderstorms.
This experience is only offered through AirBnB Experiences.
If you enjoy your experience, it is okay to tip your captain and crew as you would any other in the service industry.
Wine and Cheese Sail
We're vaccinated for your safety and peace of mind!
When you book our experience, your payment goes to fund our nonprofit outreach programs!
Come sail with us and enjoy a beautiful day sail or sunset on the water! After a short safety briefing, we'll head out in to Baltimore Harbor to take in the sights of the city from the best vantage point, the deck of Condor, our 36' sailboat. While we're sailing you'll enjoy a glass or two of wine (or soft drinks) along with some cheese and crackers. As the evening winds down you'll enjoy the spectacular colors as the sun sets over Fort McHenry and the city.
Other things to note
Come prepared for a enjoyable sail. Remember that it is typically cooler in the evening on the water, so a jacket might be a good idea.
If you enjoy the experience, is it perfectly acceptable to tip your captain and crew as you would any other service industry.

Treat yourself to great pictures as a souvenir while experiencing DC landmarks.

A trip with Reflections DC and Captain Jerry or Captain Katie is a private, special tour experience where you book your own vessel and captain. I will take you up and down the waterways of Washington D.C. and show you an entirely new angle of the city.
I do take pride in providing my guests with a very special experience. I love showing people how joyful it is to be out on the water, and this city is one of the best places to do it in. I love to share stories about my time at sea, both local and afar, and talk about the happenings of Washington DC both in and out of the water. A much more personable experience than simply going on a generic boat tour.
The vessel is a beautiful runabout, designed in the 60's. She has very classic lines and comfortable seating and a lounging area that makes the experience intimate. What my guests always tell me is that you feel like you're 'on the water,' and not 'in a boat.' This vessel us feel like we are part of the river instead of intruding on it.
-Vessel for this tour is Cortina, a 17 foot classic Boston Whaler
-Guests will sign a waiver
-Please message if guests have mobility issues
-Please read the booking confirmation message in detail!

Explore the History of Black Georgetown
This walking tour starts at 3206 O Street NW DC and ends at the Mt. Zion/Female Union Band Cemetery at 2501 Mill Rd. NW. There is a half-way stop at Thomas Sweet Shop for a bathroom break and refreshment.
Description: This indepth tour takes guests on a journey through the African American history of Georgetown, a now-exclusive neighborhood in Washington, DC.
Someone visiting Georgetown today may see it as another wealthy enclave in a continuously gentrifying Washington, DC. However, this charming area that boasts high-end shopping and gourmet restaurants has a diverse past. At one point African Americans counted for as much as 30% of the Georgetown population. Descendants of enslaved peoples and free black folk have lived in Georgetown for generations, but their contributions to its history do not often receive recognition. This tour will reveal the stories of the black citizens who made their mark on one of DC’s oldest neighborhoods.
Learn to Sail - an Introduction to Sailing
We're vaccinated for your safety and peace of mind!
If you've ever dreamed of sailing in a tropical paradise, we can help you get a great start to achieve that dream!
From the very start you'll be on our stable and comfortable 36' Sabre sailboat, Condor. We'll jump right in with a little hands-on theory and terminology. Then we'll cover the important safety information and head out into Baltimore harbor. We will steer Condor out away from the dock, and then hand her over to you and your fellow students. Under our watchful and encouraging direction, you will be sailing! Just the wind and the sails and you!
You and the other students will rotate through each position on the boat. You will be steering and hoisting and trimming sails, putting the theory you just learned to practical use. We limit the class size to five students to ensure that everyone gets sufficient hands-on time to learn and practice and ask questions.
During this class, you'll learn basic sailing theory, terminology, and how to steer, hoist sails, trim sails, and tack.
You will also have the opportunity to see many of the famous (and not so famous) Baltimore waterfront landmarks.
Other things to note
We're sailing on the 36' sailboat so it's not likely you'll get wet (unless it is raining). We will sail in light rain, but not in thunderstorms. Come ready to learn and have fun!
