Join us in our workshop as we create your own custom piece of jewelry (e.g. bracelet and/or earrings) using upcycling principles. Under the supervision of Katerina and our clients, you will learn about our work, upcycling, the art of jewelry making and most importantly, the women we work with.

We try to change general attitudes towards socially excluded women. This is a way to raise awareness about women´s homelessness and present women in the context of their creative and working skills.

Metráž/Yardage is a low-threshold workshop for women in need (endangered by poverty, violence, homelessness, etc.), where we make quality design jewelry, in cooperation with Czech designers. Women are offered help, support, know-how and earnings. We put emphasis on quality and eco-friendly products by upcycling and making use of fashion production waste.

The experience will take place in our workshop on Soukenicka street, right in the center of Prague. You will get a firsthand look at the hard work these women put in and the environment where it all happens.
