We will meet at Praia Vermelha to start the Claudio Coutinho trail hike, and then start the trail hike that will take us to the top of Morro da Urca. This trail goes through the Atlantic Forest where we will have the chance to see the natural local vegetation, some of the animals of our wildlife, such as tamarins or exotic birds. The trail takes approximately 40 minutes to the top. There we will reach a point where we will have one of the most beautiful views of Guanabara Bay, the city of Rio de Janeiro, the Christ, and Niteroi. And we can rest in some of the places that serve "Mate Ice Cream" or "Acai." We are going back thru the same trail. At the base of the Urca is a wonderfull beach Praia Vermelha. We can have a relaxing bath in the ocean enjoying this trpolical beach between the hills.
