-I´ll show you ingredients from traditional Basque gastronomy and we will locate them geographically in the territory of the seven Basque provinces, so you can tour the Basque Country through its gastronomic culture. -We will cook and taste 6 of the most famous Pintxos of San Sebastián´s bars, while I tell you their stories, secrets and tips so you can cook like a local chef. They will be 6 bite "Basque tapas" that will include local ingredients as fish, pork, cheese, eggs, dairy products and vegetables. Dessert will include the original recipe of "the best Cheesecake in the World", from "La Viña" bar. It is possible to adapt the 6 pintxos for vegetarians, but because most of the ingredients in our culture are of animal origin, it is not a course suitable for vegans. Sorry. -We will set up a little stand with different props for you to take beautiful photographs of the Pintxos you've prepared, so you can share your experience and new knowledge with family and friends. We’ll be having pintxos in some of the most known spots with the locals. We will explore the neighborhood where the locals usually go out for pintxos and drinks. Normally every Pintxo Bar has it’s specialty, a “must”, and I’ve personally selected the specialties from each bar. We will enjoy and appreciate the best of the Basque Country and its unique gastronomy in a few bites. Every bar we’ll be going to has been awarded a prize for that particular pintxo that we will try, so quality is guaranteed!

As we tour the neighborhoods surrounding the picturesque historic district, we will eat the food that has made San Sebastian the culinary capital of the world. We will pass some of the city's main attractions and teach you about the city's history and fascinating Basque culture. You will experience both the traditional pintxo culture and the avant-garde culinary scene. This experience will be an authentic look at Basque gastronomic culture and the important role that it plays in daily life. We will try 6+ spectacular pintxos each paired with a local drink from 3-4 different establishments. We will create a custom pintxo tour for you, based on your personal preferences, and teach you how to identify and order the best pintxos on your own. Come experience San Sebastian's gastronomic scene. Blow your mind with the best food in the world. The tour will last approximately 4.5 hours. Other things to note We will experience the BEST pintxos in San Sebastian! The tour is molded after a Michelin star menu. That said, we will not be visiting a Michelin star restaurant because they do not serve pintxos.

We start off the tour visiting the historical market of the city, we will walk through it’s picturesque streets where we can experience the hospitable and rich Basque gastronomic culture. We’ll arrive to the heart of the old town of San Sebastian, its former bull fighting ring, it’s 16th century churches and convents, then we walk through its oldest street and see the most ancient house in the town. We will walk down the harbour, we will stop in a couple of spots where you can have a panoramic views of the city, perfect to take a nice photo, and we’ll take you to an ideal spot where you’ll be able to see a beautiful sunset and finish the Tour with an excellent view of the city and the sea.

Nos encontraremos en el barrio de Gros y te llevaré a caminar por una de las orillas marítimas más hermosas de esta región, la que nos lleva desde la bahía de San Sebastián hasta la bahía de Pasaia por ni más ni menos que el Camino de Santiago. Para ello subiremos al monte Ulía y, caminando paralelos al litoral, descubriremos bellísimos paisajes rebosantes de mar, cielo y tierra que te enamorarán. Bajaremos entre faros a la bocana de la bahía de Pasajes, y recorreremos el pueblo pesquero de Pasai San Pedro, pueblo de remeros y de personajes ilustres como Blas de Lezo. Finalmente volveremos al punto de partida en transporte público. Tardaremos unas tres horas. Te contaré por qué esta ruta es tan querida por nosotros los donostiarras y las historias sobre todo lo que encontraremos por el camino: fuentes de aguas frescas, humildes acueductos, solitarios faros, escondidas ruinas, atalayas desde donde se divisaban las ballenas. Te señalaré todo lo visible a este y oeste desde los miradores del paseo, mientras al norte contemplamos el poderoso mar Cantábrico. Tras incontables treks por medio mundo, Ulía sigue siendo "mi" montaña favorita. No puedes perdértela en tu visita a Donostia. Si sois un grupo o si reservas el tour privado puedo adaptarlo a vuestro gusto.

Explora más allá de San Sebastián. No te conformes con La Parte Vieja, sus pintxos (tapas) y La Concha... ¡ Y deja que te lleve a rincones perdidos de la Costa Vasca que de otro modo no descubrirás! Visita un viñedo familiar, y aprende el proceso de creación del txakoli (vino blanco local), desde la maduración de la uva hasta el embotellado. Camina por el viñedo, bebe los diferentes tipos de vino hasta saciarte, y acompaña los tragos con anchoas frescas de Getaria, ¡todo ello en un entorno de mar y montaña que ofrece unas vistas de quitar el hipo! La experiencia no termina en el viñedo, y es que en el camino, descubrirás acantilados que ofrecen una panorámica de la costa incomparable. También conocerás Zarautz, (pueblo famoso por albergar el Campeonato Mundial de Surf y por ser el pueblo natal de Karlos Argiñano), y visitarás Getaria, bello y antiguo pueblo pesquero que vio nacer a Balenciaga y a Juan Sebastián ElCano, y que ofrece una gastronomía basada en el pescado cocinado en parrilla de carbón vegetal. ¡Exquisito! En resumen, esta es una experiencia donde El Buen Beber, El Buen Comer, las Vistas a la Costa Vasca y la Tradición Vasca serán las protagonistas. An exciting walking tour of the most attractive landmarks that San Sebastian has to offer. We will start with a quick history of the Basque people, culture and language and show you why you are not in Spain, but in the Basque Country. We will then set off on our leisurely paced walk through the city exploring the markets, the plazas, the beach, Paseo or Camino de Santiago , port, and Old Town. During this time I will be answering questions and pointing out restaurants and bars that we recommend Then, we will end back at our starting point around 12 pm. Other things to note: Although leisurely paces, appropriate footwear for a walking tour is advised. A bottle of water/sunblock on hot days. Umbrella or rain gear on rainy days (tours running rain or shine!).

During this amazing Road Cycling tour, we will cycle the most iconic roads of the region of Gipuzkoa visiting coastal towns and mountain climbs that the professional cyclists cross every year in the Euskal Herriko Itzulia and UCI Clásica San Sebastián. Most of the roads where we will cycle are quiet and with breathtaking views. We will not only cycle, we will also learn about the Basque Rural world and we will rest while we taste a delicious pintxo and a drink or coffee in a nice local bar. The Tour includes a Specialized Allez Road bike Rental Other things to note If you need to borrow the bicycle from us(free of charge), specify your height before you book so we can confirm the availability.

The tour starts at our little shop located just 50 meters away from the La Concha beach. After receiving all the equipment needed for bike tour (bicycle, helmet and bottle of water), you will head to the "Peine del Viento" along the bay where our guide will explain the history behind these particularly spectacular sculptures by (famous Basque Artist) Eduardo Txillida. Then, we will cycle along San Sebastian´s three beaches crossing Ondarreta, Palacio Miramar, Alderdi Eder and the Kursaal Auditorium. Along the way, you will learn about the history, art, gastronomy, surf and the San Sebastian Film Festival. To finalize the tour we will recover our energy with a delicious pintxo and a coffee or drink in a trendy local bar. Do a night out in San Sebastian like a local, led by me, a local man passionate about sharing our culinary culture. You will discover a unique sensory and culinary experience when you enter the door of a Basque's Secret Gastronomic Society in Old Town (members only private club) and taste our local cheese that come from a 500 years old Basque cider house. If we find more members at the kitchen during our visit to my Gastronomic Club, you can interact with them while they are cooking some local dishes. We dive straight into the culinary heart of the city for a night of eating and drinking unlike any you’ve ever experienced. From fresh prawns to line-caught baby squid to perfectly charred steak, the pintxo hunt changes nightly but always features a range of traditional spots and chic, avant-garde bars. Come thirsty, too, as we’ll be pairing each pintxo with the perfect pour, from cider to local whites and reds. We’ll start by enjoying “txakoli”(local white wine) at the oldest wine cellar in Old Town where you will know the secret of Txakoli wine, before heading into hidden side-streets towards 4 of the city’s most loved pintxo bars + foodie temples. I will teach you how to ‘throw cider’ into your glasses, how to choose the best pintxos, all the while indulging in some of the best pintxos and Basque finest wines. Cristina Enea is a public park, in a key place in San Sebastián. It has become the hub of important facilities and urban and cultural developments and it´s near the Tabakalera International Center for Contemporary. The park was originally the private garden of the estate of the Dukes of Mandas, Fermín Lasala and Cristina Brunetti. On the death of his wife, the Duke donated the farm to the city on the condition that it be called Cristina-Enea (in Basque “de Cristina”). The park has been municipal property since 1926. Currently, the park is one of the most interesting one in Spain. It has a surface area of ​​94,960 m2 of which 16,660 m2 are roads, 1,300 m2 are buildings or ruins, and 780 m2 are the pond. It has peacocks and many ducks as well. It is worth it for those who are looking for a break from the hustle, bustle or stress, to approach this park and dive inside it in search of that switch that clears our minds and removes problems. We will meet at the entrance of the Park and we will stroll along the park searching for nice little corners until we reach the Duke´s Palace, now the Cristina Enea environmental center. You will get a forest bath while being photographed. No experience is required, just be yourself and I will do the rest.
