Later on we will explore the windy medieval streets of Fira to visit famous landmarks, and try the best souvlaki in town, do an olive oil tasting, visit a deli and enjoy the most amazing moussaka with a glass of local wine. A traditional Greek dessert put a sweet stop to the Eat & Walk Santorini Food Tour in the center of Fira. Other things to note Wear comfortable shoes and take Greek sun into consideration! The experience in our family farm is unique it will also remain unforgettable to every guest as it is a once in a lifetime experience. To begin with, most people ignore the tasting process of olive oil as it can be tasted with two different senses; not only with our mouth but also with our nose. The experience will begin with a walk in our estate in order for our guests to familiarize with the whole process of production. Additionally, the experience will continue with a visit to the specially designed space where olive oil is stored and there our guests will be able to taste olive oil, according to the official procedure using the appropriate blue glasses. Finally, they will have the chance to try traditional Greek cuisine by Mama Kontessa in the family taverna which is located next to our farm. The starting point of the sea kayaking activity, Kathara Beach is located 20 minutes away from Rhodes Town. After a safety briefing on Sea Kayaking, we will start exploring the beautiful east coast of the island. We will explore Anthony Quinn's Bay, Ladiko Bay, the cave of the seal and finally Traganou Bay. There, i will have prepared for you a yummy healthy Greek traditional picnic, including "Dakos", dolmadakia, tzatziki, fresh vegetables and much more. After having refuelled our energy, we will start paddling back to the starting location. Do not miss this opportunity, even if you are a complete beginner, to treat yourself to a fantastic sea kayak trip on the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. We will begin with an introduction to organic olive farming , focusing on cultivation methods which result in healthy trees and top quality olive oil. You will learn to identify some of the varieties of olive tree, and will acquire basic (or more advanced if you are interested) knowledge of growing olives. We will give you a briefing on the exciting, ongoing research on the health giving properties of excellent olive oil and you will learn about the role of oleocanthal in promoting good health. We will show you round the farm and then if you wish you can participate in watering, pruning, repairing stone terraces, mending olive nets or picking olives (the harvest is from October onwards). Finally you will enjoy a well deserved tasting session, with our own delicious olive oil and different accompaniments. You will be given a bottle of olive oil to take home with you. Γίνεται μια περιήγηση στην αρχή της γνωριμίας μας στον χώρο μας, ώστε να δείξουμε την αγάπη μας στα ζωάκια της φάρμας μας και περισσότερο στα άλογα μας καθώς και τις δραστηριότητες που κάνουμε εντός της φάρμας. Ανεξάρτητα αν έχετε κάποια εμπειρία ιππασίας ή όχι, θα θέλαμε να μας επισκεφτείτε. Ξεκινάμε γνωρίζοντας με τα άλογα τα οποία θα κάνετε ιππασία, γιατί πάντα μια γνωριμία πριν την βόλτα μας είναι η καλύτερη! Στη συνέχεια, θα κάνουμε ένα μάθημα για αρχάριους σχετικά με το πώς να ξεκινήσετε, να σταματήσετε και να καθοδηγήσετε το άλογό σας. Αυτό το μάθημα σχετικά με τα βασικά της ιππασίας είναι επίσης μια περίοδος σύνδεσης με εσάς και τον νέο σας φίλο. Μόνο όταν όλοι αισθάνονται άνετα τότε θα ξεκινάμε για την βόλτα μας!
