We are Denver local hiking enthusiasts who love to take guests of all levels of experience to low traffic trails with breathtaking views all year round! We are the original Denver guided hiking tour. We start our adventure at one of Denver's best coffee shops, in the Highlands neighborhood, minutes from downtown. We will customize the hike based on the preferences of the group and the current trail conditions. We'll connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take amazing photos (check out our insta @hikingintherockies) and send them to you at the end of the hike for memories that will last a lifetime. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail. The guided hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but we encourage guests to provide their own transportation. If that is not possible, we are happy to drive you in our car and we will return to the meeting spot at the end of the tour.

We will be making one of a kind wood and resin Pocket Pipes from scratch! No kits here! You will start by picking out your wood blanks for your bowl as well as our hybrid stem blanks that will be assembled during our workshop, cut, carved, engraved if you like, polished and finished into something you can really be proud of. Of Course we have to try them out so feel free to bring tobacco or otherwise since this is Colorado...and give them a try! Feel free to bring a friend to observe for FREE! However seating is limited and prioritized for paying participants work order will go: -Pick your wood -Assemble the blanks with glue and clamps -Use the drill press to prep our bowls -Carve, sand, shape the pipes - take a quick beer/wine break -Enjoy your new creation! We will be in my shop (Garage) the entirety of the work time and most of the class primarily using a rotary tool with an extension attachment (makes it like using a pen to carve/sand rather than holding the entire tool) Other things to note Any and all experience levels are welcome, I especially encourage folks who have never tried any wood working. I will always be there to help or step in if any step of the process makes you uncomfortable. I can often accommodate custom time slots as well, just shoot me a message anytime!

About 20 minutes east of Dillon, CO is the beautiful Loveland Pass and the Continental Divide, where I'll take you up past 11,000 ft. elevation to get some of the most breath-taking views that one can simply drive to. Wild flowers grow abundantly in the summer, changing leaves are visible in the fall, and the views on a clear winter day are unbeatable. Please join me as we tour the grounds and photograph your experience any time of year! Designed for adventurous couples or groups, or a single person looking to document their time in this spectacular landscape! Be prepared to be active & in front of the camera as we capture precious moments touring around the mountain pass! Please feel free to request a different time for the shoot than what is available. Things to note: - This will be up near 12,000 ft elevation with a moderate to low difficulty level. - Transportation is not included in this experience. Please be prepared to use your own vehicle to get to our destination. - It is outside, & being this high in elevation, weather can be unpredictable. Your adventure begins at a cafe conveniently located in central Denver. After a short introduction we will head to the hills and carpool to the hiking trail. On your hike you will learn about nature, get to know new friends, take water and snack breaks, and take heaps of pictures of the breathtaking views. The hike is about 3 miles depending on the ability of the hikers and length of the trail. After the hike we will return to the cafe. All of our hiking experiences are personalized based on the size of the group and ability of the hikers. We offer both group and private hikes, corporate events, large parties welcome! Join us at a beautiful trail nestled in the foothills of Denver! This is a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the Rockies without a long drive. This trail is located 30 minutes from Denver and it's easily accessible year-round. We will go on a leisurely walk to explore the scenic views while photographically documenting the experience. We are seasoned photographers with over 300 5-star reviews across all platforms! Details: * Consider choosing a weekday to avoid crowds. * This is a private experience. You will not be booked with strangers. * The trail is easy to navigate for beginners and children. We can also accommodate guests with limited mobility. * You may take an Uber to this location or we will give you detailed driving directions. *Groups such as families, friends and couples are welcome. We also love photographing solo travelers. Discover the wonders of the night sky just outside of Boulder with our all-ages tour! Accessible by car, Taxi, Lyft & Uber, the tour starts at sunset and lasts for 2 hours. A professional astronomer will guide you through the cosmos with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will explore the wonders of our universe including planets, constellations, star navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, and even shooting stars (if lucky). You'll be able to take in the breathtaking beauty of these celestial objects through our telescopes with your own eyes. The tour takes place at an easy-to-find trailhead, and there's no hiking required. You'll have the chance to see phenomenal sunsets and wildlife in the area. We provide our guests with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, and bottled water (upon request). We encourage our guests to bring questions, a sense of wonder, and warm clothing (as it can get cool after sunset). We can accommodate most requests for availability to fit your travel plans (the sooner the request, the better - we prefer to have at least 1 week's notice). “Valerie is an awesome host, she made the whole experience very fun and delightful. She is great at bringing the group of strangers together in such a short time. And the goats are just fantastic.” We begin our goat hike at the STAGE STOP, 20 minutes West of Boulder. After introducing ourselves, some Western lore, and the "girls" (goats), we'll start our hike of 2.4 miles through the historic living museum beginning with the Cloud City mining district. I’ll tell stores from the miners’ journals as I point out relics from their lives and mines. You will be selfing with the goats, taking panoramic pics of the mountain scenery and enjoying the mountain climb. You'll be seeing old mine portals, the school house and root cellar, stone walls, gold mine tunnels and stone cabin foundations. The land reveals many secrets of the past that I'll be sharing them with you. Along the way there is time for water and breathing. Depending on group size and weather, the famous Downhill Goat Race will conclude our adventure. Each hiker steers his/her goat down the hillside to the winner’s circle. Experience the excitement of making your own piece of jewelry! This is a three hour hands-on workshop, in which you will learn the silversmithing fabrication techniques to make a sterling silver band ring. All materials and tools will be provided for the workshop. Just come, have fun and learn! During the workshop you will be lead step-by-step through the processes. It is a very safe environment, however each participate will be asked to sign a liability waiver and safety will be discussed. The process begins by measuring and cutting a piece a sterling silver the desired width of your ring. Next the metal is annealed with a torch. Annealing is the process of heating metal with a flame to make it malleable. After each time the metal is heated, it is cleaned in a solution to remove the oxidation that is created on the surface. Once the metal is prepared, you will have choices of hammers and metal stamps to texture a pattern onto the sterling silver, creating your personal design. Then the metal is cut to the length required for your ring size, formed into shape and soldered together. The final steps are refining, buffing and polishing your creation to have a beautiful shine! Rest assured that your safety is our priority. Regarding COVID-19, we have a cleaning protocol in place. Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer are available for your use.

Upon arrival at the ranch, we'll get grounded and connected to the space and then visit with the goats to learn from their wisdom around curiosity, courage, confidence, and connection. We'll explore ways you can grow these qualities in your life as you meet each of them and give them scratches which is a nice flow of giving/receiving. You'll see which goat you connect with the most and you'll learn a bit about them. We'll do a short meditation to feel the goat quality you most want in your life. Then we'll head to the large horse pasture and you'll get to meet the horses. Again you'll observe the horses and see which one you are most drawn to and why. You'll learn about each of the equines and what they teach which is often about power, leadership, presence, living from our hearts, and staying centered/grounded. We'll end with another short meditation to feel the healing power of the horses and become connected to the horse quality you want more of in your life and work. All work with the animals is on the ground (no riding) and is based on respectful touch and listening to their desires as much as our own.

This experience is perfect for social media posts, as well as proposals, corporate events, and special occasions! You came to Denver to hike the mountains and take home memories that will last a lifetime. You want photos! However, you don't want to ask complete strangers to take photos for you. You also don't want your other photos to be all selfies! You want photos to be proud of. But, how do you begin to plan? That's where I come in! After you book an exciting hike with me, I send you out a questionnaire so I can learn what you want so I can tailor it to your needs. I call you the day before the hike to confirm everything for your exciting day out. On the day of the hike, I come to pick you up at your place in the Denver metro area an hour or so before sunrise. To document your adventure out in the mountains, I bring 2 professional DSLR cameras. Throughout the hike, I take photos of you, the group, the mountains and anything else you want. After the hike is done, you will safely arrive back at your place and will have the rest of the day to reflect on the fact that you did so much before lunch. Make a sustainable craft with me from locally foraged materials in the rocky mountains. We will start by foraging materials based on your selected craft from the land. Ingredients will vary seasonally but all craft disciplines can be made within any season. Select from the following crafts: Basket and or wreath making - take home one wreath or basket Candle Making - take home 4 candles with 2 different scents Weaving - take home 1 basic frame loom wall hanging We will start with a nature walk around our land to forage for materials (bark, twigs, branches, thread, dried flowers, botanicals) This will take about one hour. Then we will process the materials and start our craft in my home studio. This activity finishes with a home-cooked farm-to-table lunch cooked by me, which I will make while you are finishing your project. Please note - I only work with vegan ingredients for my crafts and food. If you have any food allergies or preferences please let me know in advance! I also practice recycling and zero waste in my home. Any ingredients that are purchased for crafts are also low to no waste.

Sunrise hiking in RMNP! You can not beat The morning golden hour in this state. The sun sets behind the mountain range one hour before sunset eliminating those beautiful colors during that time, so I really like to encourage people to go on a sunrise hike with me! We will meet at a location outside of the RMNP- and then you will follow me into the park. Dream Lake is a bucket list hike, so be sure to have your cameras! This adventure lasts 3/4 hours from start to finish. 3-5 Professional photos will be taken of your group and delivered 7-14 days after your tour! Other things to note: If I’m outta shape, are your hikes still for me? MOST CERTAINLY! We have an adventure for everyone during every season!!! After we get to know you a bit more we can decide the best one for your group!
