Glassblowing Experience
I am offering an advanced session to learn the process of creating a coloured borosilicate glass pendant art work.
This is a workshop session for maximum 3 people and lasts around 3 hours with a few breaks.
During the session each participant makes minimum two ornaments and often more.. I teach how to blow a glass bubble with coloured dots on.
Towards the end of the session I will create a several demo pieces to show tricks and techniques. The participant will get to keep the demo pieces as well.
Please note the pieces made need to be annealed in the kiln for 6 hours after the session end so they will not be ready to take home.
I will post them safely or they can be picked up. This can take up to three weeks.
I also issue a little self made named certificate as a memory.
Not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
Under 18's need to be with an adult.

Pudding and Ale Vintage Bike Ride
After meeting at Bamford Recreation Ground, close to Bamford train station, we’ll run through the gears etc. and ensure the bike is set up to suit you. We will ride at a leisurely pace and enjoy stops along the way to discover the hidden past of this beautiful area and take in the splendid scenery of the Park District National Park. If you like big views and want to enjoy the social as much as the ride then our Pudding and Ale vintage bike tour is for you. Starting and finishing at the ancient Peak District village of Bamford you’ll adventure north on the traffic-free Thornhill Trail, an easy going start. You’ll take in some gentle up and downs as you follow the quiet gravel road along the shores of Derwent Reservoir, where you’ll enjoy great views across the Dark Peak and Derwent Valley beyond. On your return we take in a pub stop at the welcoming Yorkshire Bridge Inn where you can enjoy either a traditional Yorkshire Pudding with gravy or a Bakewell Pudding, and a pint of the local ale. You’ll soon be refreshed for the short ride back to the start on country lanes. From Bamford station it is around a 20 minute train journey back to the bustling centre of Sheffield.
Join our retro bike ride and be guided by local experts as you journey through the beautiful Peak District countryside. You'll explore new places and have a great time!
My Great Big Smallholding Tour
Do you want to live in a greener, more sustainable way? Are you worried about climate change? Do you want to eat more fruit and vegetables? Do you want to start growing things? Are you interested in learning more about keeping chickens, and beekeeping?
This tour will inspire you to get started . . .
You will:
• Tour the vegetable garden. Discuss permaculture, inter-cropping, perennials, no-dig, pests. Enter the greenhouse and see the hotbox and its crops: early salad, melons, tomatoes and grapes. See and discuss composting and (leaf) mulching.
• Tour the fruit and nut trees. Discuss growing , grafting and crossing apples and other fruit. See cordons, step-overs, espalier, standards. See sweet chestnut, cobs and walnuts. See a family tree with three apple varieties.
• See the 10+ varieties of soft fruit in the fruit cage.
• Feed the chickens and check for eggs. Discuss chicks, dual-purpose birds and general care.
• Watch the bees, and learn more about beekeeping. Try on a bee suit. Taste the honey.
• Walk along the (planted) foraging hedge with many different types of pollen and fruit for humans / bees. See the pears grafted to hawthorn.
• See the turkeys and discuss (Sep to Dec!).
• See the solar panels, wood pellet boiler, smart meter. Discuss all the energy systems.
• Hear a little history of 1870 Farlands House, and Hayfield village inc the dam and the Kinder Trespass.
Other things to note
Can't find a suitable date? Please get in touch. We will be walking/standing for 90 mins. Great walking from the door in the Peak District National Park. You are welcome to leave a car before/after.
Pottery in the Peak District
Get your hands dirty in the pottery studio! You'll learn how to throw on a wheel and some simple creative techniques to make your pots special. Everyone will at the very least produce a cup and a dish, you'll be able to decorate your work and it'll be included in our next wood kiln firing.
Other things to note
This experience is tailored for people who are creative, you don't need any experience of pottery... but if you do, great, you can really push your creativity.

Naze View Farm Alpaca Experience
You will arrive at the farm - which has wonderful views
We will give you a short talk on the Alpacas;
* how to keep you and your Alpaca safe
* how to put your Alpaca at ease and gain the most from your experience.
* the care and husbandry tasks for alpacas
We will match you to the Alpaca which would suit you best, collect "the boys" and go for a walk around our farm - this will be through wooded areas and fields and we will stop to allow you time to pet the Alpacas and get to know them. PLEASE ENSURE YOU WEAR SUITABLE FOOTWEAR.
We will have cuddles and photo opportunities and hand feed them.
You will be able to feel some of their fleece and if you wish you can collect some alpaca poop if you wish to make some "fertiliser tea" once you return home to help your garden grow! You may have the chance to meet our Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep.
You will leave the experience with increased knowledge about these wonderful animals and benefit from some time in their company.
There are 3 alpacas, each visitor will have 1 alpaca each, if you have a group of more than 3 people, please get in touch.
Alpacas are friendly animals who have a natural curiosity. They are nervous and can be startled easily so we try and minimise loud noises and quick movement, please ensure long hair is tied back. The experience is WEATHER DEPENDENT.

Tea in the Meadows with Ewe
Come and join us and enjoy an afternoon tea in the meadows and meet the friendly sheep. Whilst mingling with the sheep you will have the opportunity to feed, brush and cuddle them. At the moment we also have the chance to feed the baby lambs on bottles!
We cannot wait to see ewe!!!
We can also change times to accommodate visitors and do request decorations for special events. Also, this activity is not for anyone pregnant. Also please wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing if you don’t mind potentially getting dirty.

Peak district couples photo shoot
Join me on an unforgettable walk through the peaks and let me take gorgeous photos of your trip to share with friends and family and cheerish forever.
I am a full time professional photographer whose grown up in the peak district, meaning I know all the best spots and can help give you posing guidance and put you at ease in front of the lens.
We'll meet at Mam tor car park where you can get a quick coffee and cake before we begin. From here we'll walk up the gorgeous hill side steps to the top of mam tor submit. Along the way I'll stop and direct you both on how to pose and get some really beautiful pictures of you together. After the shoot I'll send you a gallery of your fully edited images within 2 weeks, 5 will be available to download for free and the rest will be available for purchase. The whole experience will be roughly an hour.
This is such a nice way to document your holiday and have pictures to print for your home.
Meet the Alpacas of Wetley Moor, Staffordshire
ALPACA TREKKING WITH WETLEY MOOR ALPACAS
If you love enjoying a fun-filled day outdoors, at one with nature and interacting with animals, you’ve come to the right place. Wetley Moor Alpacas hosts the most incredible alpaca trekking experience that is suitable for the whole family. If you are local to Staffordshire or are visiting the area we can guarantee you’ll love what we’ve got planned for you.
We offer a 60 minute experience trekking with our alpacas across the beautiful Wetley Moor Common learning about, meeting and walking our animals, with plenty of photo opportunities.
This experience starts with you joining us at our farm and is going through a brief health and safety talk - taking you through all the dos and dont’s with alpacas.
Next we will let you get up close and acquainted with your alpaca for the trek. We offer a 5-10 minutes introductory period to ensure you feel totally comfortable with our alpacas. This is a great time for alpaca related questions that we will be more than happy to answer.
Once you are fully comfortable walking your alpaca we will head out onto Wetley Moor! This is just under a mile in distance but we walk at an alpaca pace which is usually slow and steady!
Please note that the start time of your booking may vary slightly (+/- 1 hour) so please keep an eye on any communications from us to confirm your booking time.
Photo Tour in Chester
Get your travel photos taken by two professionals in the beautiful city of Chester. We’ll take you to some of the most iconic and historical locations in the city and capture those special moments for you.
This experience gives you the opportunity to see most of the city landmarks and get your photo taken by two local photographers.
We’ll begin with the beautiful Chester Cathedral and then walk to various famous locations across the city, taking photos of you as we go.
We'll give you expert posing tips, show you the difference it can make in a photo, as well as sharing some secrets to take creative photos and how to edit them.
Our route might slightly change depending on the season of your booking, as we want to offer you the best seasonal settings and natural light for your experience.
We will meet at the Town Hall square on Northgate street and take a few minutes to get to know each other. We will introduce ourselves, share our stories and experience and what you want captured.
By the end of our time together, you'll not only have stunning portraits of you, but you'll also have experienced this roman city in a unique way!

Prepare a seasonal outfit, we advise you to wear neutral colours to highlight you in the photos. Feel free to bring any accessories, sunglasses, umbrella, hats, scarfs, gloves, bags etc..
Deer park day out
Deer park tour and photography experience.
Have a chance to walk through our deer park and photograph the deer.
We have Red and Fallow deer which can be frequently seen and photographs.
This 2 hour tour will include an introduction to British wild deer and a deer park tour.
Good waterproof shoes are recommended.
The nature of the park is a space for wild animals and the tour is not suitable for people with impaired mobility or very young children.
Rock Climbing in the Peak District
Whether you have always dreamed of trying rock climbing, push yourself and learn new skills or spend quality time with your family or friends, you are in the right place.
You will have a go at rock climbing at one of the best gritstone edges in the Peak District National Park, learn how to hold each other’s ropes and even learn some of the techniques essential to climbing independently.
The sessions are encouraging, positive, and friendly, and the aim is to give you the best experience possible so that you finish the day feeling empowered and have a sense of achievement, a repertoire of new skills, and a big smile on your face!
You can either book a space on an open group or you can choose a private booking.
I run open courses on selected evenings only but private courses can be booked Monday to Sunday at either 9 or 10 am, 2 pm, and 5 pm.
The cost for a private 1/2 day course (3 hours up to 6 people) is £170 and for the Full Day it is £240 and lasts 6 hours). I can also facilitate larger groups, please message me for a price and availability.

Itinerario
A la hora indicada nos encontraremos en la plaza del Ayuntamiento, donde comenzaremos un tour a pie por Chester, una ruta ideal para conocer los principales atractivos de esta ciudad británica.
En primer lugar, cruzaremos la puerta de la antigua Abadía de Chester, descubriendo así Abbey Square y sus preciosas casas georgianas. ¿Os imagináis cómo era la vida en un monasterio? ¡Lo descubriremos!
Pasearemos junto a los muros de Kale Yard Gate y llegaremos a uno de los enclaves más importantes de Chester, su catedral anglicana. Continuaremos el tour visitando The Rows, donde os parecerá que hemos viajado atrás en el tiempo. Sus edificios con entramados de madera negra de estilo Tudor se apoderarán enseguida de vuestras miradas.
Después, nos detendremos ante el Eastgate Clock, el emblema por excelencia de la ciudad. Por último, nos acercaremos al anfiteatro romano y sus jardines y terminaremos nuestra visita guiada por Chester en la Cross después de dos horas de paseo.
Forest Bathing & Meditation at Buzzard Valley
Join us for a morning of Forest Bathing & Meditation in the woods as you connect with nature and allow yourself to slow down.
We start with a session of Meditation and Relaxation where you can leave all of the cares and troubles of the week behind you and prepare to start the weekend fully relaxed. This session incorporates meditation and mindfulness techniques, breathwork and gentle yoga.
After that you will take part in a Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) experience. Shinrin Yoku is the Japanese practice of engaging in a forest/natural setting through all of our senses by responding to invitations that the forest presents. You will engage with nature in a mindful way, lead by Faye, receiving all of the physical and mental benefits that nature has to offer, relaxing in a natural setting and deepening your connection to nature. We will finish with a tea ceremony with herbal tea and a chance to relax in the company of like minded people.
Whilst not join us in the afternoon for a wonderfully mindful session of willow weaving where you will learn basic techniques and create your own garden decoration from willow to then take home with you on the day.
Whilst there is a short walk, it is not physically demanding but may be unsuitable for those with physical challenges. Please get in touch to discuss if you are not sure.
