Let's get you ready for a day filled with awes and ahs! Your adventure starts the minute we pick you up at your front door downtown Calgary, or Canmore! You'll see wildlife, spectacular sites, hear fun stories, learn a bit of history, and maybe play a game or two. By the end of the day our group will feel like family! Not only are you going to visit all the main sites including Kananaskis on the way to Banff, Lake Minnewanka, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake (summer months) but in addition you will visit many great hidden spots with million dollar views that avoid crowds! We'll figure out the group's dynamic of who wants to do what or where, so we can get it done! If you like to hike, stroll along one of the beautiful lakes, sit down and relax, take postcard worthy photos, look for wildlife or do it all; it's possible! I will adapt and adjust our stops according to traffic, weather, best times to see a place, etc. This experience is about wowing you all day! This is not a touch & go tour, you'll have time to experience Banff! And if you like; one of us can be your personal photographer. So make sure to bring your phone chargers, the average person goes home with more than 100 photos! This experience last between 8-10 hours depending where you are being picked up and dropped off. Our specially designed arena has safety at the forefront and our hosts will help you nail some bullseyes in no time. Once you've mastered a couple different throws we'll start in on the games and determine who among you is the most qualified Canadian lumberjack! Bring your friends, your family, and everyone you know! The more the merrier since we'll be playing loads of games and tournaments. Other things to note Make sure you're wearing closed toe shoes. You must be over 10 years old to throw axes. Please show up 10 minutes before your scheduled start time to sign in with our team. Our tour will take us through mossy forests and fern beds, across a suspension bridge, floating a hundred feet above Lynn Canyon with stunning views of waterfalls and alongside the river to hidden pools that offer the perfect place for a snack of Salmon and Cedar tea. We begin our journey on the world renown Baden Powell Trail, as we follow its winding path through a forest of towering trees Lynn Creek appears alongside us. This trail will deliver us to the Suspension Bridge giving us the chance to gaze into the canyon below taking in the impressive waterfalls from a bird's eye view. The east side of the creek sits above the canyon in a more mature forest and delivers us to Twin Falls a smaller double waterfall. After a short climb, we return to the Suspension Bridge on route to a river beach to brew a little Cedar tea and nibble on candied salmon. Our journey is approximately 5km in length and includes short steep sections with well made wooden steps. The walk is a beautiful figure 8 loop helping us to capture the magic of the canyon while seeing new terrain throughout. Sunset tours include an increased chance of wildlife sightings such as Bears or Owls. Headlamps are provided. Other things to note Please note that this is a non smoking tour. We will take you on an excursion to Sandy island only accessible by boat. This is a designated marine park with picturesque walking trails. You are transported to the island by a dingy or jet ski. We have all the safety equipment. Option 2. Choose to ride on one of our water towables- spinner is unique to our area!!

A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Pickles and Peanut, French Alpine goat brothers! Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! We will walk around some hidden gems of Vancouver and I will be taking your beautiful portrait photographs. You can either choose one of these adventures as an option or make it custom based according to your preferences. 1. If you like beaches, then we can go to English Bay Beach (best time for morning and sunset photography). 2. For a mix of city and nature experience, we can walk around Gastown and Canada Place. 3. If you love the arts, then we can walk around the colorful streets in Granville Island. 4. We can also do Indoor studio Fashion Creative Photography. If you don't choose, Default is 2nd option and we meet at Railtown Cafe, 429 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC. I will be sending you up to 20 edited photos which will be ready after a week from the day of the experience. These photos will be digital and are perfect for posting on social media & share with your family and friends. This will be a good way to have your travel memories. Guests will meet the Host at a central location. This may or may not be at the foraging location. If needed the Host will shuttle guests to the foraged location. Each guest will be outfitted with the proper mushroom foraging tools and given a detailed explanation of what each piece of equipment is used for and how it is to be used. Guests will learn how to identify and recognize a few different species of wild mushrooms and have hands on experience learning about mycology and how to forage for wild mushrooms. Since there are thousands of species of mushrooms and fungi, only safe and edible mushrooms will be collected and learned about during this experience. Guests will spend 60-90min on a guided forage walking through mixed terrain in search of wild mushrooms. Once the experience is finished, the group will ensure we "leave no trace" and return back to the rendezvous where guests can provide feedback and be given the opportunity to purchase dried mushrooms previously foraged locally. (Mushroom Hunting is a very seasonal and temperamental activity, guests should be aware there is a small chance that fresh edible mushrooms may not be discovered during their experience however the Host guarantees that wild edible mushrooms will be integrated into the whole experience as well as a fulfilling learning experience!) Other things to note The guide will provide resources to help identify common edible mushrooms via literature and photos. There's a chance that not every foraging experience will result in edible mushrooms but be prepared to have a full day of learning and experiencing the outdoors!
