We created this tour to show a very unique place for those who are ready to make efforts off the beaten track! We will visit a natural labyrinth system – a 3 dimensional playground, where we will often have to clamber up steep walls and creep through narrow passages. Prepare yourself for something active! - We will meet up near the cave (30-45 minutes from the city by bus, still in the residential Budapest) - You can change your clothes at the changing room, and we will give you the necessary equipment. - We will spend 2,5-3 hours under the ground. We will discover a small part of a 30 km long multi-level labyrinth system. As the cave is practically a maze with a network of passages, we can always find the path which fits your level of fitness. In means that we can do a relatively easy tour (still challenging), or an „adrenaline-pumping” tour - it’s up to you! - The tour is very interactive with a friendly atmosphere and English-speaking expert hosts. - It’s a perfect occasion to meet new people and maybe make new frindships - as there will be situations where cooperation makes your way easier. - After the tour you can chill at the moody beer terrace of the cave. Other things to note This is NOT an outdoor experience, it doesn't depend on the weather. Age limit: 10-55 years. No prior experience of caving needed. It is an active tour so we don't suggest it to very overweight people

Dear Guests I’m very much looking forward meeting you! :) About the experience-we’ll meet in the most central location-Erzsébet square in the 5. District, from there we’ll walk approximately 30 minutes to the Ruin Pub district where we are going to visit many bars. Throughout our walk to the bars I’m going to talk about various topics related to Hungary,including an introduction to Budapest, culture, recent history & few fascinating details about the Jewish district as well. Our tour includes a visit of the 3–4 best ruin pubs (depending on the weather/season/day). I’ll explain the history in steps, which led to this state of these ruin buildings. I promise you’ll love these surreal pubs which are nothing like you have ever seen before ;)The bars are all different interpretations & decor of similar aged buildings from the end of the 19th Century. In one of the pubs you will taste a surprise shot which has a very interesting story behind it :)Throughout the whole experience you are more than welcome to ask me to take your photos as my first profession is Photography. :) Also You may tag the wall in one bar. Based on bookings You’ll have a chance to meet with other travelers from all around the world which usually leads to fabulous conversations! This experience is a spicy combination of historical sightseeing, understanding contemporary Budapest, discovering street art and murals, local galleries, bookshops, coffee shops, and the design scene, all along the path of ruin bars. The 7th district is where Jewish culture has bloomed for over 200 years and today hosts the largest and most active Jewish community of Eastern Europe. We visit the neighborhood of the Dohány Street Synagogue, which is the largest in Europe and the second largest in the world. Visiting the Rumbach or the Kazinczy Synagogue inside is part of our tour (the entrance fee is included in the tour's price). Note that as of October 2023 the Kazinczy Synagpogue is closed and the Rumbach synagpogue is only open on Sundays (until spring 2024). Until then, from Monday to Friday we'll invite you for a drink and a cake instead of the synagogue visit.

If you don't have other questions / ideas we begin this experience with an introduction to Hungary's modern era, starting from the WWI and focusing on the last 35 years (change from Communism to our young democracy), focusing mainly on historical, economical and political aspects. In the second part we enter a conversation: you will be able to ask anything you've ever wanted about Hungary (and more!): let it be controversial politics, the country's turbulent past or uncertain future, our personal opinion, ideas for change, etc. On this experience we aim to show you the scene of Hungarian mentality, politics, economy or any other aspect of our lives that you wouldn't be able to hear anywhere else.
