If you are into nature and country life, this is the place to be. The outside screened porch, you will see birds of many species. Breaux Bridge is 10-15 minutes away which includes antiquing and great Cajun cuisine. If you are interested in the seasonal festivals, downtown Lafayette is 10-15 minutes away. Other attractions include the Bird Sanctuary, Lake Martin, and if you are lucky, you can spot an Alligator! The "Bird's Nest" is the perfect stress free getaway!

My home is in the heart of Cajun country, sitting on two heavily wooded acres in St Martin parish, home to Longfellow's Evangeline State park and minutes away from Lafayette and Iberia parishes. The area is teaming with wonderful adventures, be it marvelous cajun food, music, dance , or swamp tours.
