Beyond Angkor Wat - hidden gems to explore
This tour focuses on discovering what is hidden beyond Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Phrom : everybody goes to these 3 landmarks, they are easy to visit, even without a guide, by yourself.
But to find hidden gems, these special places scattered through the jungle, where we can still feel the magic of the angkorian ruins, you need a guide to help you explore.
It is all question of quality time : inside the jungle, out of the beaten track, special angles, beautiful lights, magic atmosphere, a touch of story-telling and plenty of time, with freedom to take time to enjoy Your exploration at Your own pace. Meaning very small groups.
We will meet early morning and head by tuk-tuk to the Temples. We can stop to share a coffee at a local place and take time to get to know each other. All along this morning, we will discover and explore 2 very small temples and a large one, a maze and a few monumental doors.
One option : if you wish, we can add a sunrise or sunset, making this half a day tour a full day tour. Pricing will be adjusted accordingly (ask for details).
Second option : ask me if you want to do this tour by Mountain Bike (different pricing).
NB : if you would like to schedule a particular day, just ask me.
Other things to note
The best for you is to go and visit the main landmarks (Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Phrom) the day before. You will feel the beauty...and the crowd...
Then take my special tour, put of the beaten track : you will feel - and enjoy - the difference.
Do not forget to buy your entrance ticket the day before!
