Welcome to my sailboat. Sit, relax and enjoy the incredible perspective of Barcelona from the sea. We will start our sail from the Port Olimpic and navigate until near the coastline in order to show you the beauty of the city. You will have a chance to see Sagrada Familia, Torre Agbar, Tibidabo, Montjuic from the water! I'll teach you some basics of sailing to make you feel comfortable on board. On a hot summer day there is nothing better than feeling the sea breeze on your skin and driving a boat by yourself while making new friends from all over the world. When we will get to a special point with the best view possible, we’ll lower the sail and stop to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea. Those of you who want to try the paddle board will do this and the others will just have a lot of fun with floating toys. After swimming, we will have an aperitif and a glass of cava to make your day in Barcelona even more wonderful. On the way back to the Port Olimpic you will lie on the wide cover of our boat to take a sunbath. The most important for me is to share good feelings with people: you are on vacation, and I want to convert this day into amazing memories that you will keep from Barcelona. We will teach you how to paddle from the beach to the ocean. 3. You will learn how to stand up! 4. I will give you a few tips to manage the paddle, its super easy! You dont need previous experience at all but you need some sport skills. 5. First, we will introduce you to the story of espadrilles and the materials needed for their construction. You will learn about this beautiful tradition, and how this shoe design passed from being built for humble people, to be one of the most trendy in fashion nowadays. Then every guest will choose the size of the base, the color of the laces and the preferred style. Once ready, we will stitch our own traditional espadrilles, and then learn the different ways to lace them up. There will be more than 100K different combinations! This 4-course workshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is a great introduction to the world of paella and Spanish cuisine.  You will be greeted by one of our hosts with a glass of cava and then walked through the concept behind The Paella Club and the ingredients we work with. Afterwards, guests will organise themselves in groups of one-two per cooking station, where they will find every utensil and ingredient needed to cook each paella under the promise of a fully immersive and dynamic experience. Depending on the size of the class, several varieties of paella will be made at each class so that all of the guests are able to learn how to create and taste more than one type of paella.  You will feel at home while our staff guides you through our "10 secret paella steps." As a preview, we'll give away one of the 10 secret steps: Step 1—take a sip of our premium wine. The paella workshop itself has a duration of 45 minutes to an hour. After the workshop is over, while the paellas are finishing cooking, you will sit and enjoy other courses made by our chef as well as your paella creations with Catalan wine pairing. Although you will use upright bicycles during the tour, for safety reasons, you will of course have the opportunity to ride in one of my handmade recumbents during the multiple stops that we will make during the route.
