Join us at Cosmic Coffee and Biergarten (121 Pickle Road) where we will kick off the festivities and then take a short 25-minute drive to San Marcos, home of the crystal clear, spring-fed waters of the San Marcos River. Unlike the murky waters of the Colorado River in Austin, the San Marcos River is a refreshing oasis where you can enjoy a lazy tube ride down the river for 2.5-3.5 hours (depending on your preferred timeline). There will be plenty of time to soak up the sun, enjoy local wildlife, and, of course, have a little party on the water. BYOB, so bring along your favorite beers and seltzers (NO GLASS CONTAINERS, please!), and leave the rest up to us. We'll have a small cooler for everyone to share. It's bat season y'all! That's right, one of Austin's most popular attractions from Mar - Oct is watching our Mexican free-tail bat population take flight each night. This Segway experience is the perfect activity for transitioning from day to night in Austin and we'll get as close as you want to view the bats as the finale. Segway training takes place before dark then we'll cruise to some key vantage points for watching the sun set on Austin's amazing skyscrapers. As the city comes to life, we will fill you with interesting facts and quirky details about why almost 27 million people visit Austin each year. Cruising down the 2nd St. shopping district is a highlight of this trip, making a visit to Willie Nelson's bronze, life-size statue. TIME PERMITTING: A stop can be made to go inside Austin's newly built Central Public Library: a state-of-the-art facility and a true testament to our city's creative & technological environment. Because the bats are in fact wild, live creatures, some elements of nature beyond my control can, from time to time, affect their flight. Some are heavy/recent rains, high winds, cold temps, too bright or too loud conditions due to construction or a nearby concert. This may cause less bats to take flight or they may come out later (outside of the experience window). These circumstances are rare, but must be understood.

This experience starts with a 15 - 20 min. Segway training session making sure you're completely comfortable with how the Segway operates. Then we'll make our way through the charming Butler Park area where you'll start to understand a bit about the climate and culture of Austin. We'll skim the downtown corridor for a quick lesson of the skyline, but we'll stay south of the river, heading down Congress Ave., to make time for shopping Austin's popular boutiques. We are here to make your day an epic day on the water! Lake Travis is one of the cleanest and largest lakes in the state of Texas. Swimming, beautiful scenery, and cruising around will be on the itinerary! Route 1: -We will start from our private Marina (about 28 minutes from downtown) to Devil's Cove. -Along the way we will we will cruise by big cliffs, landmarks, and beautiful homes (20-30 minutes) -Cruising for about 20 minutes until we reach Devil's Cove -We will set anchor, toss in the floats, and go for a dip! (1hr-1.5hrs) Route 2: -Starting from our private marina, we will cruise north on the lake to a private access beach. The only sandy beach on the lake! This area is closed off to vehicle traffic and is a little know secret! *only available with larger groups and durning low water levels. Go on a walking, cocktail tasting, tour of downtown Austin! We'll stop and talk about several hidden-face speakeasy style bars - some stashed inside parking garages, behind bookshelves, down alley ways, pass-code and password protected, and private clubs! We'll get you into three where we can order drinks! Meet downtown and we'll sit and chat for a few minutes at introducing ourselves and what it means to call a bar a speakeasy in Austin, TX. Then, we walk to the first bar. All the bars are located downtown within a few blocks of each other. We'll spend 30-45 minutes in each of three bars, having drinks, learning about the place, and appreciating the aesthetic. Throughout the night we will continue on past a total of seven hidden-face speakeasy style bars, stopping in some and just stopping to talk about others. The night ends once you get into the third and final bar and get your drinks ordered. We do not to include drinks to give you a lower price and more choice. We will have a group tab which can be paid for via cash, Apple Pay and Cash App. Prices vary by venue but $15-25 per drink (including a 20% tip) is a good ballpark.
