HydroBiking Copenhagen
Your HydroBiking tour begins at Christiania Strand Park, a short walk from the famous Christiania. Before the tour starts the guide gives a short safety briefing and you have time to try out your water bike in calm water. Then the adventure begins! Enjoy a short ride to the Copenhagen harbor to see the iconic Copenhagen Opera House, Frederik’s Church & The Royal Danish Playhouse. By now you are familiar with the bike and have a good sense of the tour. Then through the narrow canals west of the harbor, passing by house boats, private yachts and cafes by the water. traffic flows one way, so everyone is going the same direction. It’s fun to share the journey with other water users. Crossing Copenhagen harbor to the east, we see Circle bridge and Black Diamond before entering Christiansborg Canal. We ride under old arching bridges adorned with viking faces carved in stone & a diverse range of boats, people and buildings. We pass by Borsen - the oldest stock exchange in Denmark & Christiansborg Palace. We may pause at Kayak Bar. Then we head south, passing the colorful buildings at Nyhavn and riding beside the city until Ofelia Plads. We enjoy more stunning views of Copenhagen reflecting on the surface. Finally crossing the harbor again and headed back. Our tour ends where it begins.

Parliament area Old town Vestervold Kalvebod harbour area Public spaces at Islands Brygge Havneholmen commercial and residential Amager Fælled urban nature Copenhagen architecture Danish Radio broadcasting complex Public community projects in former working-class area Maritime and cosy Christianshavn Art school campus + more at Holmen Projects by architects such as: Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) JDS Architects (Julien De Smedt) Lundgaard & Tranberg SHL Architects (Schmidt, Hammer & Lassen) Dorte Mandrup Arne Jacobsen Vandkunsten COBE Architects Gehl Architects Olafur Eliasson OMA MVRDV Jean Nouvel If the timing doesn't work, or 4 hours is a bit much, please consider our other tours: https://www.airbnb.ie/users/show/178775715 Other things to note Copenhageners are not afraid of water, so in case of rain, we'll go through with the tour.
