Hi everyone!! The idea of this experience is to provide the best possible full day in our hometown. Knowing Sintra like the back of our hands and all the magic it has to offer, we came up with what we believe to be the most amazing and complete way of experiencing its wonders in one full day! - Start the day in Lisbon in front of Dona Maria II Theater - Our first stop will be at the historic center of Sintra to discover its beautiful labyrinth like streets. We will talk about what makes Sintra so special while discovering its secrets and taste its unique pastry. - We will then discover the Palace of Quinta da Regaleira and get lost in its 4 hectares of mysticism and romantic arquitecture and gardens. - From here we will leave the tourists behind and go through the very picturesque and hidden towns of Colares, Penedo, Almoçageme etc. to reach the open atlantic coastline. - On the coastline we will go for a waterfront lunch before exploring its brethtaking cliff views and Cabo da Roca - The end of the World! -We will then have the best postcard like views of the Pena Palace and finish the tour with a visit to this unique romantic Palace. :) Other things to note Pick up and drop off in front of Dona Maria II Theater (15 walk from most areas on the city) Google location: https://g.page/TNDMII?share Meals and Monuments fees are not included.

* We received the "CLEAN&SAFE" distinction from the Portuguese Tourism Institute, for the prevention of COVID19.* I will pick you up from Lisbon city center and show you the beach with the best conditions for your level. You will get a wetsuit and a surfboard, and we will get suited up for the activity. From beginners to advanced, one day or intensive surf courses. I will help you all the way, showing and explaining everything you need to know. Learn surf techniques, beach analysis, safety procedures, and enjoy a clean energy activity, immersed in the ocean. We will start with the warm up, and then go straight to theory on the sand, but it won't be long until you hit the water. I will not give a speech on the sand, just short and quick tips If you are experienced in surfing, please let me know what type of board do you prefer, and what is your level, or else I will consider you a beginner. We will surf around 2h, depending on the conditions and your stamina. I remind you that this is a physical activity, and you must follow safety procedures Afterwards we will drive back to the city, and finish where we started so you can have a well deserved rest. Please be aware that Lisbon is hilly and slippery and there stairs to climb. Therefore there is a minimum of physical condition necessary. Also wear comfortable shoes. If you are expecting a small group, this is definitely not a tour for you. - The main topic is the Slave trade in Portugal and the world. As passioned for Lisbon, we want to show you the city as we see it, so you can get to know the secrets and customs of the Lisbon people and conquer our 7 Hills. More than a regular and touristic tour, you can learn the portuguese ways and even our language. A tuk tuk is an open air, very small and special vehicle that allow us to go through all the narrow streets of the old part of the town. We will go through them in an easy, very fun and adventurous way to go up the big hills of Lisbon. Throughout this trip, we'll explain you the history of the city and the places where we'll go, we'll do a lot of stops so you can visit inside the monuments and take some photos of the beautiful views. In this tour we'll get to know the old part of the Alfama District that includes the oldest monuments of the city near the Castle (Sé Cathedral, Saint Vicent Church, National Pantheon) awesome high viewpoints (Miradouro da Senhora do Monte and Portas do Sol) where you can see all the city and the 25th April Bridge from the top of the Hill, and stop in the little iconic streets from the XII Century. I will meet my guests at the meeting point at the Marina, and present my self, my co-hosts and Crew. When all guests arrived at the meeting point, we go to the boat, where i provide a short security briefing about the tour and what includes, such as the wine and the snacks. We will then head down the Tagus River to begin our tour, departing from Lisbon’s Alcântara Marina and heading towards Belém. We are going to pass through some of the most iconic monuments and the crew is going to tell some histories about Portugal and the discoveries. You will after this be taken up river seeing a panoramic view of the city as you go under the bridge “Ponte 25 de Abril” and observe Cristo Rei in all its majesty overlooking Lisbon. Finish your tour sailing towards the sunset enjoying your wine while returning to the marina in Alcântara. During this tour, great conversation is always a “must have” and you can learn a bit about the nautical history of Lisbon and get suggestions on what to see and where to eat. Do you want to go to Sintra and see Pena palace but don't want to spend all day in HUGE LINES ? Then it is your experience! It is a customised one, so we will enter with you to Pena palace and explain it all! I will pick you up in the central square of Lisbon and will bring you to Sintra - one of the most beautiful towns in the entire Portugal. It is located around 30 min away from Lisbon on the edge of the ocean. We will get there by comfortable air-conditioning minivan with all the necessary insurances and licences. We will explore the famous colourful Pena palace where I will show you my favourite spots and the best INSTA LOCATIONS! This is a castle which you cannot miss in Portugal, but it is very very busy so if you follow me you will definitely have a very organized smooth experience avoiding all the chaos. ( From Aug 1 - September 31 we don't visit interior of the palace since it is very crowded and the line can take 2hours to enter since interiors are small and narrow.) We will visit Sintra town and explore small cute streets, will try local pastry, and a cherry on the top - homemade cherry liqueur! All that with your passionate local tour guide and a small group of travelers. In the end I will bring you back to Lisbon.

Tile is an extraordinary heritage from Portuguese art and culture. You can find it on the front of buildings, inside houses and in the heart of what it means to be Portuguese. In this workshop that will take maximum 2 hours you will learn how to paint a traditional portuguese tile. You will learn how to transfer a drawing to a 15 cm x 15 cm tile, to learn how the colors work and how to apply them. The tiles will be ready (after firing in the Kiln) in 4 days. You can pick it up, or we can send it to your address by transport (fees apply). You'll have a unique memory which you'll keep forever : the light and colors of Lisbon painted in a tile. Welcome to my Pastry Shop "Casa dos Ovos Moles"! You´ll learn to cook the most famous portuguese pastry, the Pastel de nata (portuguese custard tart). You´ll taste if not the best, the freshest one. It´s on your hands! In a very homy way you discover how to make the pastel de nata from the scratch, including the puff pastry. It´s all handmade. First we cook it an the end we taste the delight with a Porto wine or a Ginja liquor, tchim tchim. You know that the pastel de nata recipe was created inside a monestary? I tell you the History!
