The views from Ruach are absolutely stunning - you can see for miles across to the Cabrach and Glenlivet. The cottage is very simple, with little changed in it for many years. It’s 20 mins from the sea.
It’s an ideal spot to go fishing, cycling, river/sea swimming, walking, canoeing, or just like watching the countryside.
It’s set on its own, it’s not fancy, we’ve reused furniture we’ve been given. It’s cosy, has a wood burner, new electric heaters & 40MB+ internet. A space for working.

Boasting a beautiful south facing view with an open plan kitchen, dining and living area at the back of the house, looking on to the back garden, with spacious decking area.
At the front we have a lovely living room, with plenty space for the family.
The master bedroom provides a king-sized bed and an en-suite with shower.
The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom is currently empty, although we have a travel cot if needed.

Shannelton House is located in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside approximately 6 miles from Banff in north-east Scotland. Our accommodation is a converted steading which comprises of 3 self contained holiday apartments.
All our apartments are a "home-from-home" and kitchens equipped with everything you need along with separate bedrooms and bathrooms.
You can also enjoy a movie in our cinema room, work out in the gym or work up a sweat in the sauna.
