Learn how to make the typically "French Croissant" & the "Pain au chocolat" :) During this interactive cooking lesson, you will be hands-on in the kitchen and, equipped with an apron and all the utensils you need, you will learn how to make the "French Croissant" & the "Pain au chocolat", and one mystery confection! You will be in control of your creations from start to finish, from the moment you lay eyes on the recipe for the first time to the moment you take your creation out of the oven. I will be at your side to guide you and teach you, with full explanations, the techniques you need to guarantee your baking will be a success! [Public sessions in English] Our wine tasting experience takes place in a cosy wine bar in central Paris. It is made private for the group. We will hop on a Tour de France of wine, with 6 bottles (white and red) being served, all from small and reputed producers. Expect to cover different regions, different grapes / blends and different styles. These are really French classics which we will discuss. Food is included: a selection of cheese, charcuterie and obviously fresh baguette. We will learn to use all our senses to think about wine and perceive various styles and aromas which can be traced to grape varietals, regions and winemakers. If you want to share your thoughts on the wines, your participation is encouraged. Questions are welcome too. Since this day, many pastry chefs had and continue to have fun with this recipe, like Pierre Hermé or Cédric Grolet. Today, you can come and learn how to bake your 2020 version macarons ! During this interactive cooking lesson, you will be hands-on in the kitchen. Equipped with an apron and all the utensils you need, you will learn how to make your own macarons step by step, also picking the flavour of your choice ! When you arrive at the Paroles de Fromagers cheese shop, push the door and be greated by friendly cheesemongers! Then one of us will guide you through the back stage, then up to cheese making room. Wash your hand, take your raw milk and get ready for an incredible and fun cheese making experience!
